here's the satellite and radar. no rain, but clouds are increasing and there is the chance for areas of drizzle tomorrow. details coming up. five-year-old girl is released from jail -- after a judge waives his bond. the teen was let go -- after being charged with second-degree sexual abuse. authorities believe the teenager took pictures of the girl's genitals -- at an in-home daycare -- operated by the teen's mother. court documents indiciate the photos were found on the teen's phone. 100-thousand dollars in bond was initially set after the arrest and released him. madison wisconsin police are searching for the shooter -- who shot another person at a mall this afternoon. authorities say the shooting

before 3 o-clock near the food court. witnesses say ten people started fighting with each other -- and police believe they knew each other. one person was shot in the leg -- and they are expected to recover. several people were detained for questioning. at this hour -- the person responsible for the shooting has a 26-year-old florida sheriff's deputy is released from the hosptial after being shot during a traffic stop. dramatic dash cam video was released -- showing everything that happened. we warn you -- the video is graphic in nature. as you can see here -- the deputy pulls the man over -- for not having a tag on his electric scooter. after he's pulled over -- the man punches the deputy -- and shoots him in the leg. moments later -- the deputy shoots back. according to authorities the man was in prison for attempted murder -- so it is unclear how he got the gun. protests gain momentum in chicago for the officer-involved shooting death of an african american teenager. hundreds of protesters blocked rush hour traffic downtown

one person was arrested. protestors are calling for the resignation of the chicago mayor -- for mishandling of the laquan mcdonald shooting. chicago police officer -- jason van dyke faces six counts of first- of misconduct. republican presidential candidate -- donald trump -- campaigns in cedar rapids today. kwwl's jessica hartman attends us live in the newsroom with more. jessica? the crowd was pumped -- chanting "go trump" as they waited for him to take the stage. supporters say they came to see the trump attitude -- that had made him the talk of this campaign. and he delivered on that expectation - - coming out of the gate firing at jeb bush calling him basically incompetent. for an hour and fifteen minutes -- he touched on various topics -- like the recent budget bill passed by congress -- calling it a disaster - - an pointing again to incompetency as

from the kwwl stormtrack here is additional forecast information from the kwwl stormtrack 7 weather team: welcome back i'm meteorologist kyle kiel. here are a look at the low temperatures today. we started off in the upper single digits to the north, to the lower to actually felt like winter. by far this will be the coolest start in the next seven days at least. threat tracker shows increasing clouds overnight as a warm front tracks through the area. that brings windy conditions into the day on sunday. there could be areas of patchy fog and drizzle during the afternoon hours sunday. better chance for light rain showers as we go sunday night into monday. not expecting any heavy rain out of that. here's a look at the storm track 7 live weather network cameras here across easteen iowa show p petty

starting to see the high clouds track into our western counties. these will continue to overspread the area as we go throughout the overnight hours. temperatures right now are in the 20s and thirties. these temperatures won't be cooling off too much during the overnight hours. our wind speeds are out of the south, and are relatively light. however, they will pick up during the hours tomorrow. satellite and radar right now shows no rain here eastern iowa, and the clouds start to track in from the west as a warm front moves in for the south. this warm front will keep our sky cloudy on sunday with the chance for a few areas of drizzle and patchy fog by sunday afternoon. let's time everything out with future track. starting this evening we will have a mostly clear sky. high clouds will track in and thicken up overnight. as we go throughout the day on sunday,

going to be hard to see any sunshine. we are expecting mostly cloudy skies. by the afternoon hours there could be a few areas of patchy fog and drizzle as we continue to pump moisture in from the south. however the better chance for drizzle and light rain showers will be later sunday evening and into the overnight h hrs sunday. as low pressure tracks up along a front, we could see a transition to al little bit of snow and freezing rain to the north, but most of the moisture will be off to the east before the colder air filters into the area. generally we are talking under a quarter inch of rain. here's the storm track 7 forecast for tonight. we will have increasing clouds, with temperatures dropping a few more degrees before they hold steady and slowly rise

pick up from 10 to 15 miles per hour. tomorrow we will have a mostly cloudy sky. temperatures will reach the lower 40s with the chance for areas of fog and drizzle in the afternoon. the better chance for rain will be late sunday night and monday. here is the christmas forecast. wednesday there is a slight chance for rain, just rain, as temperatures will be above freezing. thursday will be partly cloudy, and friday will be partly cloudy. that's christmas eve and christmas with temperatures near 40 degrees. so, no white christmas his year.
