upper 30s and low 40s. we are tracking a storm forecast to bring us rain wednesday with highs in the mid 40s. rain amounts could be as high as 0.50". one is dead, dozens injured after a woman drives her car up onto the sidewalk of the very busy las vegas strip -- today, police are saying it was not accident. chris pollone has the latest in car barreled through crowds on the las vegas strip sunday. sending people flying through the air. injuring dozens. killing one. and now police say they think the driver of that car did it on purpose! (s/ sheriff joseph lombardo - clark county, nevada not on cam) "lakeisha holloway repeatedly drove over pedestrians, tried to get her to stop, but she didn't." 24-year old lakeisha holloway from oregon faces one count of murder with a deadly weapon. and could face additional attempted murder charges. las vegas police don't believe it was an act of terrorism, but can't rule it out yet.

the motive was. we believe she had disassociation with father of the child. " a three-year-old was in the car during the incident. police say that child is unharmed. it happened around 6:30 sunday night as throngs of tourists walked near the paris las vegas and planet hollywood casinos on the las vegas strip. witnesses say the car surged onto the sidewalk at least two or three times. mowing down everything in its path. (s/ justin cochrane / witness :54 - :56) "it was just hysteria. i' shaking still." police say holloway parked at a nearby hotel and told a valet what she had done. he called 9-1-1. bystanders on the strip helped the injured as they waited for paramedics to arrive. there for an annual competition- including iowa schools like wartburg, coe college, grandview and university of dubuque kwwl's lauren moss speaking with jim miller, former wartburg wrestling coach and wrestling hall of famer - and lauren, this was something that really shocked the wrestling event today.. that's right- out of 37 people hurt by this driver....9 are college wrestlers. good news here: they are all okay and miller says thankfully no wrestlers from any iowa schools were hit- but it's a terrifying situation that no one will forget.. a witness said people flew like bowling pins as the car slammed into the crowd killing one person and injuring dozens more. 4 of those injured are members of pacific university men's wrestling team- and 5 are from delaware county college. jim miller, former wartburg coach- tells meehundreds of wrestlers and coaches were out walking around last night..seeing shows and getting food.. it could have happened to any of them- and it's something that hit the wrestling competition very jim miller- wartburg wrestling

roberts was wrestling at 220 at a meet on saturday when he collapsed... an autopsy will be performed by the state medical examiner to determine the official cause of death. bail is denied for the friend of the san beranrdino shooters. a judge is denying bail for enrique marquez... marquez is accused of giving syed farook and tashfeen malik the guns they used on the mass shooting in southern california earlier this month. he's charged with providing material to support terrorism among other things. marquez didn't enter a plea while in court today. after a mistrial is declared -- a new trial is set for a baltimore police officer accused in the death of freddie gray. william porter is the first of the six officers tried in the death of freddie gray - his first trial ended in a hung jury... so he'll be back in court on june 13th. the next officer to face trial
