following recent shootings overseas and even closer to home. according to the f-b-i website -- more than 2-million background checks were performed for gun buyers last month alone. that's compared to less than two- million checks in the same month of last year. kwwl's kristin rogers talks with buyers and sellers. she joins us live in cedar kristen? palo is a little more than ten miles from where i am in cedar rapids, however -- the small store of palo outdoors has experienced huge sales -- and there is no doubt in the manager's mind, the increase is partially due to shooting in california marked the 355 mass shooting in the united states this year in 336 days. shootings nationwide have lead to a fear of increased firearms.
