kwwl's jessica hartman joins us the roads were a little dicy during the hustle and bustle of christmas eve. many people braved the torm to f fnish their lasas-minute shopping, visit family, or even a heavy wet snow making for slick road conditions in the area. causing nearly 50 wrecks in black hawk county. likekehis roll over accident on dysart road - - a deep ditch. taking at least one person to the hospital. for some the snow was the answer to their white christmms wishes -

wants to spend christmas obviously, but any day. witnesses say two people found dead -- recently celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary. a tornado in michigan causing some damage to a small airport in canton township. some of the smaller aircrafts also damaged. authorities say the tornado was only down onlthe ground for about two milele -- and was the width of a football field. fortunately -- nobody injured at the small airport. police say a deadly mall shooting was not a random act of violence. the shooting was reported earlier in charlotte, north carolina. police say two groups of people were fighting when one of them working at the mall shot and killed he gunman. one woman was shopping with her two young children at the time of the incident.
