side of the road and in ditches after sliding off the road during yesterday's storm. some programs in the area like horizon meals on wheels had to cancel its elivery services for the day... so volunteers could avoid the same fate. "a lot of our volunteers are super willing to get out there and brave anything but we just little bit, play it a little bit safe for us." horizon meals on wheels says they recieved a few phone calls from concerened clients... but because the service previously delivered emergency frozen meals in case of situations like this... most clients had the food they needed. a bettendorf teen is injured after being thrown from a car. the rollover accident happened on highway 61 south of skyline road. jason sweat was driving when he lost control of the car and entered the ditch, causing the car to roll. while the car rolled, sweat's son, 14-year old caleb sweat ended up pinned under it. sweat was taken to finley hospital with leg injuries an eastern iowa man is dead tonight after being trappd in a grain

it happened in keystone around two-fourty-five this afternoon-- in the 100 block of railroad street. kwwls olivia mancino was on the scene, she joins us back in our newsroom an employee i talked to out at the grain elevator understandably seemed distraught... multiple departments responded to this call today.. but the 56-year-old man died on the scene this afternoon, it was at this grain storage facility in keystone a man died tuesday afternoon. according to the benton county sheriff, the 56- year-old man was vacuuming grain into a semi truck when a wall of corn surrounded him, eventually covering and trapping him. five departments -- including a helicopter crew from cedar rapids -- and local volunteers attempted free him from the corn for nearly thirty minutes. he was pronounced dead on thee scene. authorities aren't releasing the name or any other details of this accident but we'll continue to keep you posted

we've got you coveree live in the newsroom olivia mancino kwwl news this is the second death involving a grain bin this mon... just two weeks ago, a 39-year-old man from central iowa died at a hospitt after being trapped in a grain bin. one person is dead, others are injured after amulti vehicle accidevt in linn coun. it happened on highway 151 in fairfax. a car crossed the center line slamming into another car... a third vehicle swerved to miss the accident but ended up hitting the car driven by terri skalsky. skalsky was taken to the hospital, but according to the iowa state patrol...she has died. the iowa department of agriculture is lifting the ban on all live bird exhibitions at the beginninnof the year. the ban was put in place back in may after the outbreak of the avian influenza. it canceled all live bird exhibitions at the iowa state fair in hopes to minimize the spread. the department announced lifting the ban today saying iowa is now considered free of

get a chance to take the field here inside the rose bowl in pasadena -- we'll hear from them coming up as they're set to enter this game as a 6 point underdog -- but first -- i'm going to throw it back to downtown l-a -- and brad hanson -- who just happened to spend a little time beside the make a visit this weeend -- there's no shortage of options for fans this week as they take in the sights around southern california. one of those options--the uss iowa, a very popular one--i met lots of hawkeye fans seeing the ship with their state's namesake. the u-s-s iowa--a ship that saw combat in both world war two and the korean war. now it sits in the port of los angeles--a floatatng museum, and a big part of naval still, but we got a sneak peek--going far below the top decks to see what made this ship run. but back topside, plenty of hawkeye fans to be fabulous. it's just amazing. i didn't even, had no clue. had no clue what this would be like. it's really cool." iowa fans impressed
