killed were swept away by flood waters ii their cars. many people who helped their neighbors protect their homes this week -- are now trying to save their own. now to a tragedy in eastern iowa. a man has died after being trapped in a grain bin. it happened yesterday in keystone. the benton county sheriff says the man was moving grain into a semi when a wall of corn surrounded him, eventually covering and trappii him. the man was 56.. his name has not been released. this is the second tragic accident in a grain bin this month. from central iowa died after becoming trapped. a a ity is planning a major overhaul of the police force. today, we expect to hear about those changes coming in chicago. yesterday, officer jason van dyke pleaded not guilty for the deadly ssoting of laquan mcdonald. van dyke is charged with murder. mayor rahm emanuel is expected to make an announcement today that requres tasers for eery a duuuque county native -- one of six americans killed earlier this month

republican frontrunner is changi his strategy going into the new year. donald trump has a new tactic and a new target. he says he will start spending $2 million a week on campaign ads. a new mexico couple has been rescued aater spendiig 20-hours in a car buried in snow. they were out delivering newspapers when their car went into a ditch during a snowstorm. with wind gusts topping 60 miles an hour -- rescue crews could not pinpoint where they were. volunteers came out with bulldozers and tractors -- but had to be careful. they din't want to drive over a car. "i kicked aahole in the windshield after having them move back out of the way and got a hole kicked through the windshield and ty and i were able to lift them up out through the hole in the windshield." they were treated at the hospital -- and say they'll start delivering the paper again... once they get a new car. video shows a thief inside a church. a woman had her purse stolen as she was praying in a church in florida. the 84-year-old woman was sitting in the baak row -- a mananwalks in... scanned the room... before appearing to leave.
