look at the temperatures right now. we are in he lower to upper 20s across eastern iowa. the wind has been out of the west throughghut the day, but we do have a boundary national guard i i called to help with recovery efforts in missouri. they've been helping with bringing in clean water -- from other districts --to these towers. the water can be dropped off and then pumped to the towers. the guard brought 15 of these tankers with them -- and each tanker carries nearly 2- thousand gallons. the entire process takes more than an hour and a half. officials ay it's going s sow --

yearrold man was shot in the chest and was taken to iowa city. at this hour -- we have no word on his condition -- and no arrests have been made. but officerssay the people attending the party knew the shooter -- so there is no threat an iowa man faces faces charges after taking a playstation from another person at gunpoint. this man was arrestededthursday by davenport police. police say he agreed to meet with a person in november who was going to sell him a playstation four. the two met at an auto parts store in davenppt -- where police say he took the system without paying for it. at last check -- he's being held on 25-thousand dolrs bond. police arrest a connecticut man near gillette stadium after finding a meat cleaver, sword, and stun gun in his car. it happened just hours before the n-h-l winter classic. several people alerted police and say they saw the man acting suspiciously in the stadium's employee parking lot.
