able to swim to shore and was kwwl's kristin rogers has been following this story for us closely both last night and throughout the day today, kristin what''s the latest. i'm told both counselors and clergy have been available to students throughout the day today, it's certainly tragic new for this tight knit community here in solon. after working late into the night last night emergency crews were back at this morning. i'm told they had to get through an inch of ice to be able to get on the water also a part of the search. wymer's body was found just after eleven this morning we are told felton and wymer were in the canoe to take a picture of a nearby home. the current, wind and waves caused the canoe to turn over. felton was taken to the hospital to be evaluated after he was pulled from the water, was not able to escape, and he has lost his life.

a vigil will be held here at the high school in just a couple of hours. we've got you covered live in solon, kristin rogers...kwwl news. neither wymer or felton were wearing flotation devices when the canoe turned. a local family is greiving tonight and looking for answers.. after a young mother is found dead in bed in her waterloo home. kwwl's lauren moss has been looking into this- speaking with relatives. she joins us now with the latest- there are many questions tonight- police say she died from medical reasons- with no exact cause at this time. family members say the 22 year old mother just went to bed...and never woke up. 22 year old lacey batton is described as a hard worker- with a smile that could brighten up a room. she was a mother to three boys- one 5..and one 3 years old and sadly, she gave birth to a still-born boy last year. they say she didn't have any
