the driver of a vehicle was passing another in the left lane -- and quickly came across a vehicle -- broken down in the road. the driver tried to avoid the car -- and lost control on ice. troopers say the first driver crashed -- and both cars went in the ditch. 23-year-old scharell shavers was not wearing a seatbelt -- and died during the incident. meanwhile -- another crash reported on highway 20 in sac county. troopers say the driver lost control -- and the vehicle rolled. at that point -- the person was thrown from the vehicle -- and landed in the road. the driver of an s-u-v swerved to miss the person -- but a second driver went over the top of them. authorities say 19-year-old anthony sanfratello died at the scene -- and the crash remains under investigation. notorious drug kingpin joaquin "el chapo" guzman is back in the mexico prison he escaped -- through an underground tunnel six months ago. n-b-c news confirms mexico authorities want to send him to the united states to face drug charges.

this is the altiplano guzman was brought overnight. the very same prison that he escaped from six months ago. now the big question states. (gutierrez on camera :19 - :36) a source with the mexican attorney general's office says that the country aims to fulfill the u-s request for extradition. but cautions that the process could take months as it works its way through the mexican legal arrested in an early morning raid on friday in the mexican state of sinaloa, home to his notorious cartel. it was a bloody shootout. six people were killed. five suspects were arrested. and a mexican marine was injured. then el chapo was transferred by helicopter to mexico city where he was paraded in front of cameras. and the mexican attorney general said that it may have been a desire for the spotlight that

evening and lasts until 10 o'clock sunday morning. this is for most of the viewing area. even though washington and cedar counties aren't included in this advisory, it's still going to be cold with wind chills 10 to 15 degrees below zero. threat tracker is in the yellow for both tonight and sunday because of the bitter cold temperatures. it will continue to be cold on monday, however, not as cold. there's also a slight chance for snow as we head later in the day on monday and tuesday. not a big storm system though. road conditions are slick, especially across northern iowa where there was a little bit more snow, also refreezing from the rain and the melted

here are a look at the current temperatures. these have been falling all day long, and will continue to fall all night long. we have single digits to lower teens across the area. when you factor in the wind northwest from 15 to 25 miles per hour, it is feeling below zero already in many areas. storm track 7 live weather network cameras show clearing conditions across eastern iowa. we still have clouds in the eastern half of our viewing area. storm track seven live doppler radar shows dry conditions across eastern iowa. we did have a few snow showers and flurries early this morning, but another storm is passing to our southeast and is bringing snow just east of our area. meanwhile, high pressure is

us quiet, but cold overnight. here's a look at future track. it is showing mainly clear skies during the overnight hours. we will see a few clouds, especially early on in the evening hours. it will also be very windy as well which is why we have that wind chill advisory in effect for much of the state of iowa. as we go throughout the day on sunday. despite the sunshine, temperatures will still be very cold in the single digits. some of our southern areas may get in the digits -- it's a big concern for pet owners -- trying to keep
