that night. now, ambrose's parents and lawyers will receive two and a half million dollars from the city in a wrongful death lawsuit kwwls olivia mancino has been digging into this story she joins us now live after a long investigation it was found officer kyle law used appropriate force in this case. in fact, waterloo police chief dan trelka said in his only statement "put yourself in the shoes of the officer in that situation" however nearly four years later, millions for the loss of their son yellow tape and police cars line a crime scene that would later set the stage for one of the largest police- involved settlements ever recorded in iowa history. tragic, and im going to look into the particulars of this case to try to make sure it will not happen again in the future" and in dubuque, police arrested 62- year-old dolores flynn and accused her of beating her ex-husband to death with a baseball bat. police found 72- year-old gary breckenridge's body in the 29-hundred block of jackson street last week. flynn allegedly told a family member she hit breckenridge multiple times with a bat and hid it in a ditch near the home. investigators later found the bat, and traffic cameras in the area apparently show flynn walking to and from the spot where the bat was found. a fire devastates a home...and these tougher and more dangerous for firefighters. it happened in the 1900 block of paris road in central city. fire crews were on the scene for hours. kwwl's kristin rogers spent time talking with firefighters today anout what it's like to fight icycles hang from this
