thursday morning. 30-year-old jil sodahl is charged with attempted murder. after the shooting, police found a handgun in a pond at jones park, which they believe was used in the shooting. the victim's injuries are non- life-threatening. cedar rapids police also arresting three people following a home invasion and stabbing. it happened early wednesday morning at 59 dartmouth street sw in cedar rapids. a 20-year-old suffered a non- life-threatening stab wouu. 20-year-old austin holtan and 21- year-old michael jurenic have since been arrested and charged with robbery and burglary. 19-year-old nickola glisic was also arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. continuing coverage -- police now say a shooting involving a lococl toddler wws an accident.

jeremiah horsley may have accidentally shot himself. at last check -- he is in stable condition. the investigation is still ongoing and the dubuque county attorney will ultimately make a decision regaring ether a crimimnal charge is filed. a plane taking off from an airport in iowa makes an emergency landing. the american airlines flight took moines airport -- on its way to the d-c area. however it was forced to land in dayton, ohio -- due to a problem with the plane's hydraulics system. luckily -- none of the crew mmbers or 69 passengers on board were injured in the emergency landing. a little more than a year after the death of their son, caleb. jenellle & brigham shamrell arere filing a lawsuit. they say their son died shortly after a tonsillectomy. the family is suing, saying the hospitals are at fault in their con's
