watching the roads. last night -- drivers in washington d-c got a taste of what they can expect this weekend. drivers crashed on icy roads and sat in gridlock for hours. they're prepping for the worst -- as some forecasts have two feet of snow this weekend. dangerous blizzard conditions are especially expected to hit baltimore and washington d- c... some students in eastern iowa have today off -- for safety precautions... students at grundy center middle and high school have been given the day off after fire alarms when off this morning... we talked to the district's superintendent-- he says the cause for the alarms hasn't been determined... but alarms also went off yesterday for a possible gas leak... some parents in a different iowa town are speaking out.... they're concerned and confused after learning about some changes happening to their kid's special education school. kwwl's amanda gilbert has been monitoring the situation -- and has more for us today... ok so minimize that phillip trimble's 12- "and it's really become a place studentswho have mental health problems
