you might remember we profiled koos last year as he took us through that day at the jackson county courthouse. and according to the lawsuit he and two others have filed, this episode has stayed with him nearly a year and a half later. it was september ninth when a disgruntled gus glaser pulled a gun out during a glaser, and wrestled with him as his gun went off, killing glaser. koos has been recognized many times for his life saving actions. . but he's struggled with the events of that day. koos and two others now filing suit against glaser's estate, claiming glaser exhibited negligence in only physical injury, but emotional distress as well. the suit alleges koos' relationship with his wife has also been affected by the incident. when reached by phone, koos said he has no comment on kwwl last april, he talks about how the incident has stuck with him. maybe i overthink it too much. but it probably changed some lives, if not just mine." glaser's estate filed an answer to that lawsuit last month. of the 31 points in koos' lawsuit, the answer denies 29 of them, citing lack of information and belief. koos told me today he didn't want to talk about it, because it's a personal issue, not a county issue. i did reach out to attorney's on both sides of the case today, but haven't heard back from either side. we've got you covered live from the t-h media newsroom in dubuque, brad hanson, kwwl news.
