now to a developing story this morning... u.s. marshals arrest an iowa man want on multiple state and federal charges. last summer, a warrant went out for cowan godfrey from dubuque. authorities say he's a suspect in a shooting incident ii jackson park. after leaving the state -- authorities were tipped off that he came back -- and was likely inside an apartment on white st. in dubuque. he was then arrested. two dubuque officers are being sued -- accused of using excessive for. the lawsuit claimsmsthe officers pepper-sprayed a woman -- who was pregnant -- her 12- year-old son and 14-year-old daughter. they're seeking punitive damages and compensation for injuries. a police spokesman says they mment about the case. there's a new team on the streets in cedar rapids to help cut down on gun violence. this kind of violence has been on the rise in cedar rapids. this is video is from different shooting investigations in the last year. a new police community action team or p-cat plans to proactively

police are now looking for the suspect. the group that took over a wildlife refuge in oregon had explosives an night vision goggles. that's according to court records in the investigation. reid binion tells us the leader of the group now wants his followers to leave. "please stand down. please stand down." an attorney for oregon armed protest leader ammon bundy... ...reading bundy's statement asking followers to end their armed occupation at the malheur national wildlife refuge. long the cleanup will take after a train derailed near the iowa-minnesota border. it happened tuesday night near reno, minnesota. that's north of new albin. sii cars went off the tracks and into the mississippi. those cars had soybean oil inside. several other cars also went off tracks. three of those had sodium chlorate -- which is used to make paper. canadian pacific says those cars did not go into train derailments. train traffic has picked up considerably in the last year or so and that's where everyone's concern is, especially with the oil tankers, so we're always trying to prepare for them." crews spent much of thday yesterda using heavy machinery to move the cars. an eastern iowa mayor resigns -- along with two other government leaders -- over a zoning dispute. marquette's mayor, a long-time city ccncil member and a board of adjustment member say they're done -- effective immediately. it all hinges on a zoning dispute. a man has been living in a mobile

head into saturday, however, those temperatures will be approaching the 40 degrees mark. after saturday is when things turn a bit more active. there's a slight chance for rain and snow on sunday, but that shouldn't bee a high impact. as we head late into monday nighttnd then through wednesday, we are tracking the potential for a winter storm. now this is still 5 days out, so we are still going over several of the details. but heavy snow is a possibility across the midwest, and here in iowa. right now the trends show the heaviest snow falling across central iowa. there could be a mix to the south. it will be very windy. this system is still well off the pacific coast, and we will get a better idea probably sometime late tomorrow or saturday, as the storm system moves on shore, and our weather balloons can get a handle of the system, so stay tuned. here's the storm trackk7 live doppler radar and satellite. no snow

tracker on the market. so many people now have the bracelets that track your steps -- and in some cases your heart rate. but rrght now -- as mary this year -- the word health is almost synonymous with these brightly colored bracelets at the gym or work -- but the get you in shape -- but do the wearabbe trackers work? this month -- fitbit was hit with a class action lawsuit -- alleging fraud. according to the suit -- two of the company's heart rate accurately mmasure your heart rate. and that could be potentially dangerous.
