candidates are trying to gin momentum from last night's debate. governor jeb bush held a campaign event in carrol today. bush talked about hillary clinton trust issues and how he is proud to be a bush. and senator marco rubio is out seeking last minute votes before the caucus. this morning the republican presidential candidate greeted supporters at a rally in burlington. he started out criticizing the obama administration then turned his attention to democratic candidates hillary clinton and bernie sanders. senator ted cruz didn'ttmention the debate during his town hall in ringsted - but he continued to attack other republicans as failing to live up to conservative principles. and that included takg on the family of popular reppblican iowa governor terry branstad.. who criticized cruz last week for opposing federal subsidies for

apartments to several different renters. kwwl's hillary maglin talked to the lamont fire department today. hillalay ron... the lamont fire chief said the fire took hours to put out in the old building... and the owners are devastated about the loss. smoke fills this lamont neighborhood after a church burured down thursday night. the ground from 40 thousand gallons of water used to fight the blaze. the lamont fire department says the cause is still under investigation - but sounds suspicious since it was vacant at the time. (sot. cg: terry crow/lamont there's, the gas was shut off." still - crow says he doesn't believe it was an arson case. the building hadn't been used as a church since 2011. it was turned into apartments... and a storage space for the owners.
