iowa dot cameras in the area.... and visibilities are down as some showers track through....the winds are the main problem today.. they are 15 to 30 mph right now with gusts up to 40 mph. temps are in the teens and low 20s and wind chills are starting to drop below zero. we will have a few snow showers but the blowing snow will stay the main problem. the winds stay strong through tomorrow and the cold air will stick around, too. i'll have more on that in a few minutes. three people are in the hospital following a fire in cedar falls. it happened just before 11:45 last night at a mobile home park in the 2500 block of union road. firefighters rescued a five- year-old girl, a three-year-old boy and their mother from the home.

scene around four this morning when were doing well. the mother had serious smoke inhalataion. the cause of the fire is under investigation. we'll have more on his story at 5 and 6. new at noon: the names of the people who died in a crash have been released by iowa state patrol. died highway 30 near keystone. authorities say the driver of a minivan lost control -- another car crashed into it. then, two other cars crashed. the iowa state patrol says nine people were inside the van at the time of the crash -- two of them were thrown out. they say they were heading to work together from the cedar rapids area to tama. no one was wearing seatblets in the van. we will continue to follow this story throughout the day and bring you the very latest. police are still on the lookout for a man who walked into a business with a gun and got away with thousands of dollars. here's a look at the surveillance video from the

city saturday night. you see the man walk up to the cashier and lead her in the back. customers look nervous. in that back room cameras show the cashier being forced forward.... a gun to her back. she gives the man money from the desk and from a safe. then he quickly leaves. as we spoke with the owner, her god son can be heard translating... "it's very unsettling for us because he already came in with the intention of going in to the back room where the safe was." according to witnesses -- the person took nearly 50-thousand dollars -- crime stoppers is offering nearly one-thousand dollars for any information that leads to an arrest. an iowa police officer is while responding to a call. sioux city officers investigating a string of robberies and burglaries responded to an apartment complex. police say isaiah mothershed shot an office in the leg -- and also shot himself. the officer is a 13-year veteran of the department and is already out of
