small schools who would have to find a way to make it feasible. high school sports bring tradition and excitment to many communities but soon, there may be changes coming in what schools will be (cg: brad floy/ secretary for iowa atheltic trainers' society) "if you can afford to have these sports then you need to have an athletic trainer or health care provider on site to have them." floy helped draft a new bill that would require an athletic trainer provided by the home team at all varisty football, wrestling and soccer contest. as a trainer himself at the university of iowa, he says soccer, wrestling are the ones where you see the most concussions, the most severe injuries so we're starting with also trying to narrow it down for the cost issue as well." cost being one of the largest issues, floy tells me it's estimated to cost a school 25- hundred to 5 thousand dollars a year just to provide someone at home contest. continuing coverage - witnesses living in the neighborhood of last nights' shots fired incident are getting frustrated with the recurring incidents of violence. police responding to shots fired in the 15-hundred block of woodmayr drive in waterloo. at least 20 shell casings were found and police say some homes were hit by bullets. no injuries were reported in the incident. one witness who has lived in the neighborhood for more than forty "it's too big of a job to move. it would be easier to stand out in the middle of the street and get shot." police are still investigating the shooting - no arrests are made yet. an iowa academy, being investigated for sexual assault allegations, is coming under more fire - this time for delayed incident reports. lee county sheriff's records show that dozens of reports about runaways, assaults and suicide attempts by troubled teens at midwest academy in keokuk often were
