in the days after it crashes and leaks 36 hundred gallons of de-icing fluid... crews tell us the wind wasn't a problem lifting it out. the cyrotech de- icing technology truck rolled monday afternoon on i-380 south of cedar rapids... a crane had to be brough into the lift the trailer out of the ditch. the truck leaked de-icing fluid and diesel fuel which flowed downstream into the coralville reservoir. an iowa woman tests positive for the zika virus...

an icon of an eastern iowa town is getting a facelift-- but not everyone is excited about the idea the black hawk gaming association will grant 750 thousand dollars to renovate the fourth street bridge in downtown waterloo although the grant was voted unanimously, not all board members like the project board member geoff grimes was quoted as calling the bridge the "world's longest urinal" kwwls olivia mancino has been looking in these developments -- she joins us now live according to the city engineer the pedestrian part of the bridge hasn't been updated in nearly 20 years and the gaming association president tim hurly says in conversations with waterloo's previous mayor, it was time to either fix the pedestrian bridge or get rid of it here's a look at the bridge. as you can see, there's rust spots

she was back in the news within the last year for releasing the book "go set a watchman" - a sequel to to kill a mocking bird. dramatic video out of missouri shows a grassfire that turns into a "firenado" crews were fighting a massive grassfire yesterday... which you can see spread to a pretty big building. the fire actually turned into a "firenado" - look closely the fire is kicked up in small little spirals... there weren't any reports of injuriris. if you got a drone for christmas, today is the last day for you to get it registered with the federal aviation administration. all drones purchased before december 21st must be registered today... any drone bought after that date must be registered before its first flight. the registration cost is five bucks. more than 325 thousand people have already registered their flying machines.

trying to bring back visitors after a bed bug infestation. the carnegie- stout public library in dubuque had an incident of bed bugs in october. once people heard about it -- it scared them off. now the library does monthly inspections with cooper -- orkins labrador retreiver who sniffs for bed bugs. cooper goes through aisles, smells books, even couches. we're about halfway through black history month -- a time dedicated to african american culture. the african american museum of iowa in cedar rapids is celebrating with special events and extended educators about it. the african american museum celebrates african culture year round - but goes the extra mile for black history month.
