"they looked at the daytime driving demographics, the nighttime driving demographics in different points of the city, so you actually kkw who is where in the city at any given time. so it gives you more real time credibility. "we want to do what's best and provide the best services possible, and we're willing to spend money to do a research project to find out." i reached out to the naacp here in dubuque today as well--they hadn't heard of this proposal, so i sent it to them to get their reaction, but haven't heard back.

the t-h media newsroom in dubbue, brad hanson, kwwl newsws if the budget is approved as is, the money for this study would be available july first. one of chicago's most wanted fugitives --facing homicide charges -- could be here in eastern iowa. the u-s marshals office is asking for help finding 22- year-old kevin edwards. he's wanted for thth murder of ne-year-old tyshawn lee in november of 2015. authortities say he left illinois and has ties here in eastern iowa -- and is considered armed and dangerous. if you have any information -- please contact authorities. continuing coverage -- parents of a child who was accidentally shot in the face --pleading not guilty. raven harris and willie rsley both face child endangerment charges. their son -- jeremiah -- was rushed to the hospital with a gunshot wound after being shot in dubuque last onth -- but he

12th -- while horsley's has yet to be set. a man is facing murder charges in connection to a fatal stabbing. 47-yeararld elias wanatee charged with second degree murder in the death of 50-year-old vernon mace. police say the two were arguing when wanatee allegdly stabbed him six times wednesday morning in sioux city. mace later died at an area spital. wanatee is being held on 750- thousand dollar bond. a local man who crashed into two squad cars during a police chase is found guilty. a jjy convicting -year-old trenton mccleary of theft and eluding. authorities say he was driving a stolen car last december... when he led authorities on a chase through northern iowa. the chase eventually ending near clear lake when mccleary drove into a ditch -- hitting both squad cars. he was taken into custody fter trying to run away. nobody was seriououly injured in the incident. the iowa supreme court ruling stun

the university of iowa also stepping in on the issue -- banning the potentially ddngerous boardss in dodoms and dining halls. a safety group is calling for the government toeopen an investigation of fires started in select jeep models. at least 75 people were killed in fires blamed on the fuel tanks not being protected in crashes. the recalls started in 2013 -- but there's been at least 11 more deaths since e ose recalls. the leader of the nonprofit center for auto safety says the repair the company used isn't working and needs to be fixed. the recall includes more than one million vehicles -- including jeep grand cherokees and jeep libertys. many people have their sights set on their dream job -- in
