in michigan. and -- the scary details of a bus explosionin illinois. thanks for joining us tonighgh. i'm macllod hageman. an uber driver is responsible for the drive-by shooting spree in michigan last night. a source familiar with the investigation says jason dalton was on he clock during his shootitig spree -- and he was picking up and dropping off passengers between his attacks. police say he killed six people and wounded two others in what they describe as randdm shootings. dalton's neighbors are still trying to understand why he would do it. "well, we are in shock, we are are thinking about all those such a great place to live and, just like everybodyaid, you never expect it in your neiggborhood, so.."

80 miles an hour down west main mellen says that's when he called police. your friend's house and i'm like i want to get their alive." once he got to his friend's house, he told his fiance what happened. she posted this warning so others wouldn't be harmed. the scene near lake forest today. passengers say they smelled rubber from the start of their trip in chicago. at one point -- they heard a loud pop -- and then a big eplosion. smoke. when i heard the first boom i was in the bathroom and i could was fire coming from everywhere. the driver and passengers got out of the vehicle in time. the cause of the fire is under investigation. missouri police search for a person of interest in connection to a house fire that killed four people yesterday near kansas city -- including a baby. authorities are looking for this 22year-old. according to court documents -- he previously admitted to assault -- and claims the home that burned down -- was his own address. y they heard an explosioo around midnght -- and firefighters quickly responded.

homicide. two adult femals -- and an un-identified ddult and infant were also killed in the fire. in florida -- a first-grader was shot and killed saturday while playing outside his home in miami. family members and school community will get angry enough to help them find the child's killers. his family says he was playing outside his home saturday afternoon -- when -- and then hit carter. he was air-lifted to the hospital where he later died. his dad says gun violence in the neighborhood issimply out of control.
