this man - - 22 year old kevin edwards is wanted for the murder of a little boy in chicago back in november of last year. chicago p-d believes he killed this boy - - 9 year old tyshawn lee. they say edwards and two other men lured the boy into an alley -- where they shot t nd killed him. it is believed to be gang kwwl's jessica hartman has been looking into a locaa connection - just one of many in our area. speaking with the u-s marshall's today - - they tell me finding edwards is their number one priority. their search leading hem to waterloo over the weekend. the search continuing for this man - - in connection to what police call an unthinkable crime. it was act of barbarism, the assassination of a 9-year-old denies any ties to a gang - -but police strongly believe this was

emily's body was found on the bathroom floor at their home in fareway stores grocery chain. fazzino called police on the day of the incident -- saying his wife was unresponsive. he told them he believed emily was trying to kill herself, and that she was addicted to prescription medicine. but police investigated it as a homicide --after the autopsy report showed she suffered some head trauma. the high profile case moved to winneshiek county to avoid seating an impartial jury and is expected to take up to three weeks. opening statements will start tomorrow morning . new at ten -- a group of parents at linn mar high school in marion say their children have been verbally and physically abused by the aaistant football coach. tonight people spoke out both against and in staff.... the parents filed complaints with the iowa board of educational examiners against the aasistant coach, head coach and athletic

kwwl's kristin rogers was in that board meeting tonight, kristin how big of a deal have the accusations become? a very big deal. in fact, there was standing room only in the meeting. and abuse accusations range fromverbal to physical. it's wasn't your typical school board meeting. this large crowd was mainly here to discuss abuse program...specifically assistant coach matt casebolt. multiple families coming forward with horrifying stories, mark henrichs shared some of them with us. (cg: mark henrichs/ concerned parent) "the weight was slapped and hit him in the face, cut his lip, busted his lip up and chipped a tooth." in another instance he told me a player was forced to pick up glass with his bare hands after a mirror broke. their allegations that have been investigated, and according to the linn-marr principal, no abuse was found. but henrichs says they aren't satisfied...and that's wh they want the state board to come in and investigagae. it all started before josephine was born. "around 6:30 in the morning my wife woke me up and said darin we hava to go to the hospital and we have to go now." while laura was pregnant she developed gallstones...not uncommon in pregnancy. but that morning, something was seriously wrong. "we were in labor and delivery less than two minutes before the obgyn came in and said i'm calling an emergencycyc- sectctn right now." josephine was born happy and healthy. laura on the otherhand...her condition was declining. moving from icu in marshalltown to mary greeley medical center in ames, to finally the university of iowa hospitals and clinics. "what happened is her pancreas ruptured so it was like a bomb going off inside her body." all from a gallstone. (dr.lilliaaerdahl, laura's surgical team) "gallstone you know it can it can doeverything intestine and lodge there and block the drainage of the bile." at the time of this

condition she wasn't able to physically speak with us. her recovery could take up to a year...with a number of surgeries along the way. but she's motivated....just motivated to just be a mommy tt baby josephine. "and depending how long the recovery is you know who knows important. she may miss out on." the alleged gunman who killed six people in kalamazoo -- appearing in court today. jason dalton appearing via video monitor today -- facing six counts of murder. police say he shot ight people in total at an apartment complex, restaurant and car dealership saturday night -- while losing both his mom and aunt in bart nye / mary lou nye's son:09 "i'm glad that they've cauggt who they think this is and i hope he goes away for a very, very, very long time." he two surviving victims remain hospitalized in critical condition. authorities are still working to determine the motive behind the shooter's actions. a high--eed chase comeme to a crashing end in a field. you can see officers chasing the suspect here in oklahoma after refusing to pull over. after about ten minutes -- he goes off the roadway --barreling through a fence and crashing
