8:52 am
want to cook more in the kitchen, these are great on all cooking platforms. so that's what i have used today for my protein. and if you have time you can make up a little marinade, i have the ingredients right here for your porkloin slices. if you don't, just some salt, pepper and oregano will be just fine. that's it with is dill and the cucumber, but i some plain yogurt, and i have also used plain greek yogurt and i haven't noticed a huge flavor difference so whichever one you like is fine. add some chopped cucumber and you want to make the skin on. but you want to take the skin off because it makes the sauce really watery and it loses its consistency so just going to just pull some off here and i usually add a lot of flavor in this sauce. we are going to add some garlic powder, you can
8:53 am
garlic powder in this sauce just because i think it mixes in a bit better. you get more of an even that easy. it's really good if you let it sit for a day in the refrigerator, all the flavors can come together. you can make this ahead of time, or while your meat is cooking and then toss it on your gyro. it's great either way, and it's a fat- free sauce. and we were going with is gyro! and it only has those basic ingredients -- the pita pocket, and i have a white one today. you can find some whole wheat ones, the only reason i didn't is because they were whole wheat with honey, so i went with the white. so just the pita pocket, the meat, your sauce, and that's really all you need. again it's
