the u-s marshals arresting this cordarryl smith in streator this morning. smith is accused of shototng a 38- year-old man several times in arrested smith after a brief chase - he'll soon be extradited back to iowa. two eastern wa men are arrested - police say they had 15 thousand dollars in cocaine on them. in custody. sheriff's deputies from fayette county worked with those from winniessiek to nab the e pair. investigators say they were found with nearly 90 grams of cocaine, cash and other drugs near hawkeye. this is an ongoing investigation, and the fayette county sheriff anticipates more charges to be field. the fbi says one eastern iowa city is seeing the biggest drop of violent crime of any other city in the country. based on data by the f-b-i...analyzed by 24-7 wallslsreet -- in dubuque, it says there's a 58-percent decrease in violent

a group in cedar rapids is working to bring tiny houses to the community. if you haven't heard of the tiny house vement, it's becoming popular among people who wish to live a simple life--be energy efficent, or even save money--by living in very small homes. often times tiny homes have wheels and even compostable totoets but the homes in cedar rapids would not be this way.
