"early today" starts right now. >> we begin with yet another school shooting, this time out of south carolina, where a 13-year-old boy opened fire with a handgun at an elementary school playground. describing the teacher and two students hit by gun shots, one of them a 6-year-old boy in critical condition. it was towards the end of the school day when they learned of the active shooter at townville elementary. police say the gunman pulled into the school parking lot and immediately began firing shots. s.w.a.t. teams descended upon the scene as the school went on
