also warning people all over eastern iowa to be careful when they go back to check on their home. fema wants people to keep an eye on possible health hazards. carbon monoxide poisoning is a concern. so is the threat of being electrocuted -- from stepping in water where live electric wires have fallen. plus -- they're telling people to make sure they keep cuts and scapes away from contaminated water -- so they don't get infected. in bremer county -- crews are getting a better look at the damage. they've been visiting they haven't been able to get in touch with every person affected by flooding. they're asking you to call the waverly shell rock united way so they can get information from you - which they need to pass along to iowa homeland security. all of that will if you need financial help -- they can get the ball rolling. a disaster can bring out the best in people. we've seen that all over eastern iowa this week.

out the worst in others. days after the river left the north cedar community underwater in cedar falls -- the living water church was filled with supplies. people bringing in donations and flood victims collecting what they need. however some of the people taking supplies -- haven't been flood "and that is one of the hardest parts about this, you can't gage. . .i would never tell full advantage it and taken $100 things when their home didn't get flooded." but again -- as we've shared -- there are many more stories of others who are really in need and people stepping up to help. waterloo police are investigating a crime at riverfront stadium during the flooding.

friday and tuesday morning. no arrests have been made. here are more pictures of flooding from the past week. these pictures are from the city of waterloo. the city -- for the most part -- was spared... but there is some flooding damage in the city -- as the river level drops in cedar rapids -- the evacuation area is shrinking. 25-hundred people can now go back to their homes and businesses in cedar rapids. about six- thousand were asked to leave a fa of hesco barriers in the city -- and the temporary floodwall is doing the job -- protecting many homes and businesses. we're now learning the city of iowa city shipped two containers to cedar rapids -- donating about a miles worth of barriers. waterloo and cedar falls also chipped in -- sending things to cedar rapids to help them get ready for the flood. continuing coverage this morning of a tragedy in cedar

accident. ireshia parks died on tuesday. she was shot along 15th street south-east. officers were in the area helping with flood patrol --so they were quickly able to take three suspects into custody. one man says he heard the gunshots. firecracker but it didn't sound like a, it sounded like a faint gunshot." police stopped an 18-year-old man and with the shooting. a 13-year-old faces charges of involuntary manslaughter.. this morning, a boy is in critical condition after being shot at a school in south carolina. a teacher and another student were also shot. dan scheneman tells us police believe a teenager shot and killed his father before firing more shots inside an elementary school. it was near the end of the school day
