we will shift over to mike florio, profootballtalk.com. so many quarterbacks injured. what's the latest information? >> let's start with cam newton. the panthers quarterback. he took a wicked hit on a two-point conversion try to n the loss to the atlanta falcons. left the game for concussion evaluation. the panthers said he does have a concussion. he won't be able to practice or play until he's cleared by an independent neurologists. and for the arizona cardinals, carson palmer sustained a concussion in the loss to the l.a. rams. they play thursday night in san francisco. less time for palmer to get cleared to play. and trevor siemian, the broncos quarterback, landed hard on his left shoulder. he came back to the sidelines. could have returned to the game. that's what gary kubiak said after the win over tampa bay. but don't be surprised if siemian misses a game or two.

weather information. here is additional forecast information from the kwwl stormtrack 7 weather team: overnight we will have some clouds across the area, especially south of highway 20. our wind will be light and variable at to keep an eye out for areas of fog developing, especially the low lying areas. monday and tuesday are shaping up to be nice days. monday will be partly cloudy with highs in the lower 70s. we are a bit warmer on tuesday, however there will likely be a bit more cloud cover ahead of a cold chance of showers and thunderstorms. the best chance for rain looks to be late tuesday night, winding up during the first half firefighters are keeping an eye on the aftermath. kwwl's taylor bailey reports.

"apon our arrival the barn was already starting to be fullly engulfed" it took four fire departments more than an hour to douse the flames. "you could see fire shooting out both sides of the building, kind it had with all the hay inside" the buildings -- still smoldering sunday fire crews say the owner's uni loader could have te work and then when he come back, he noticed the fire started, it was already spreading so fast that he tried to get some equiptement out" the stand-up "the postville fire chief says crews did not leave the scene until 6 am on homeowner" "he was devistated, everybody was okay, that was our main concern, he is still in a state of shock like most people would be in a devistating loss" a devistating and total loss according to the fire chief.

they say a 44- year-old marion man was traveling west when he collided with the train. the truck caught fire -- and the driver died on scene. one person is in critical condition -- after he was hit by a car in cedar falls. around two o- clock yesterday morning -- authorities were called to highway 57 and roosevelt street. they say 24-year- old tristan selby was walking down highway 57 when they were hit by 23-year-old michael kelly. kelly was arrested for drunk driving. selby was later tan be treated. at last check -- selby is in critical but stable condition. one man is dead after an early morning crash in dubuque. police say it happened shortly after one o-clock in the morning near highway 61 and old davenport road. they say two vehicles collided -- and a man died. at this hour -- the victim's name has not been released. the iowa division of criminal investigation is assisting keokuk police after a 29- year-old

police say they were responding to a shots fired complaint in an alley near tenth street and north fifth in keokuk. when they arrived to the scene they found 29-year-old carissa rivers-- unresponsive. rivers was taken to the hosptial where she was pronounced dead. no arrests have been made. one person is in the hospital -- after they were assaulted with a knife in iowa city. police say it happened near the intersection of iowa avenue and dodge street. the victim reported he was approached by a group of people someone in the group started yelling at them -- they pulled out a knife -- and cut the victim's all right. a man is in jail after a hawk alert was sent this afternoon. the university of iowa police sent the warning to students and faculty -- of a man with a knife in downtown iowa city. authorities say it took an hour to find him. they say this is the second reported hawk alert issued by the university this semester. iowa state's hall of fame

this happened a few hours after he was honored for his induction into the college football hall of fame. university police say the 41-year-old was arrested and charged with public intoxication on chamberlain street in ames. he was taken to the story county jail and held on 300 dollars bond. davis set several records at iowa state -- even a runner-up in the heisman trophy ballot in 96. davis will be inducted into the college football hall of fame in the family of an eastern iowa man who lost his life during a hunting trip is grieving tonight. 60-year-old mark rollins of decorah was reported missing about two weeks ago n the crazy mountains of montana. on wednesday -- authorities found his body at the bottom of a cliff. his wife says he was an experienced hunter -- and was in good physical condition. rollins leaves behind his wife and two sons. a happy ending to a nearly 20 hour search in wisconsin for a three-year- old boy. daniel keith reports.
