be much cooler with a gusty northwest breeze. high temperatures friday through sunday are in the upper 50s and low 60s. saturday and sunday mornings are going to be chilly with low temperatures in the upper 30s to low 40s. storm track 7 chief around the country understandably worried about loved ones on the fragile island of haiti. as we told you earlier, hurricane matthew making landfall there early this morning. there are already reports of multiple deaths and extensive damage.

make sure everything is okay. storm track seven's shirley descorbeth is live from the telegraph herald newsroom in dubuque tonight shirley, how is your family doing? i have several family members who live in haiti... including my great-aunt and my uncle. he lives in port- phone. matthew. 145-mile-per-hour winds, heavy rains -- destroying homes...and flooding neighborhoods on the southern coast of the country. my uncle jean marie descorbeth, who lives in port-au-prince...tells me what they're dealing with. "i can open my window and see all those trees, there are some heavy winds." it's much worse in the south. "we have some parts of the country like the south, which is really terrible like some people lost their houses. they lost everything they have and they don't have any place to go."

with the aftermath of the devastating earthquake six years ago...and now this. "the rivers are taking away everything they have, the wind, the strong winds take away the roof of their houses, the animals and the plantations...you can imagine how bad it is." a bad situation...for a country that can't seem to catch a break. (in creole, but translated): "it's a country that is always in danger. everytime it's hurricane season, there are victims." hurricane matthew really difficult to deal with.

creepy clowns scaring people in eastern iowa some are saying its becoming a chronic nuisance take a look at all of the spots in eastern iowa that creepy clowns have been spotted so far six in total in waterloo alone two reports in cedar falls. this is a picture of what people are seeing... and this is a masku student at uni after seeing clowns on campus overnight university of iowa police posted this social media -- they've received reports of clown sightings the past two nights but have not heard reports of the clown threatening or harming anyone. take a listen to scanner audio "start heading for college and university." that's one of the two reports of clown sightings in cedar falls. kwwl's elizabeth amanieh has been looking into this story that has a lot of people on edge. elizabeth. ron -- not only are people in the area concerned-but police are as well. they say they're taking any reports of these clown sightings it's reports of clowns like this one. popping up all across eastern iowa in the weary hours of the night that have many on edge. waterloo police hearing of six separate reports of clown sightings across town. all happening between 10:30 to three in the morning. one of those-here at this mcdonalds on la porte road. teenage girls dressed with clown masks ordering food through this drive through. in cedar falls- two clown sightings

the clowns only to find an abandoned mask on her way home. but not everyone is laughing.
