""you're watching kwwl, we've got you covered. this is the news at ten." good evening everyone, i'm ron steele. and i'm amanda goodman. thanks for joining us. today marks one yeanc 20-15--a case that has still seen no one charged with the murder. police say 21- year-old jimmy richardson was shot and killed in the 700 block of rhomberg avenue. they say richardson most likely knew the people who shot him, but haven't charged anyone yet. kwwl's brad hanson speaking to richardson's girlfriend at the time about the incident. brad's live in the telegraph herald newsroom in dubuque with

shelby johnson tells me she's frustrated that no one has been charged in this case yet. she says all they want is justice for jimmy, and closure for themselves. investigators examine the area of the 700 block of rhomberg one year ago, looking for evidence they can link to the person or people who shot 21-year old jimmy richardson. police say this investigation is still very active, but no charges have been brought forward. now a year later, richardson's family and friends gather to remember and celebrate the man. his girlfiend at the time, shelby johnson, says it's never about it. i don't ever go away. it probably won't ever go away." richardson's son was just seven months old at the time he was killed--he'll never know his father. "his son has to go his whole life without his dad. he wanted to show his son a lot of things. he was a boxer, and he wanted his son to be a boxer, so i have to

johnson and others who knew richardson now pleading for anyone with information to come forward-- police say they've received very little cooperation in their investigation. carry it on, long past today. we've got you covered . . . jessica hartman kwwl news. students at kirkwood community college in cedar rapids trying to spread suicide awareness. hundred flags on campus --which is the number of college students who commit suicide every year. they say they hope it will bring some people forward who are struggling. new details tonight -- a driver is now charged in a crash which sent three people to the hospital. it happened last month at the northwest arterial and plaza drive in dubuque. police say the semi collided nearly head-on with an s-u-v trying to make a turn --sending

driver of the s-u-v -- david mcghee is charged with failuire to yield. at last check, he remains in the hospital. an iowa man who beat his three- week-old son to death is sentenced to 50 years in prison. 24-year-old randall payne, of burlington, pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter and child endangerment. evidence shows his infant son, carter, died of severe trauma to the head. payne telling an investigator he quote "neededse 50 years is ridiculous." a dubuque teen pleads guilty to charges after running from police with a loaded gun. 18-year-old diangelo washington entering the plea yesterday. officers were responding to the 16-hundred block of central avenue back in july. washington tried to run away but was caught and arrested. he faces up to five years in prison. his sentencing is set for next month.

here in eastern iowa. this comes after reports of clowns trying to allegedly lure children. here's a look at one here found in waterloo. waterloo police say they've received six separate reports of clown sightings across town in the late-overnight hours. one of those at the mcdonalds on la porte road. teenage girls dressed with clown masks ordering food through the drive through. two more reports in cedar falls of which was on the uni campus. a student posting on social simply terrified. "i'm not sure just because they're getting a thrill out of hurting people, and seeing people scared, or what it is, but its just not funny anymore. it needs to stop. police haven't received any reports of these clowns committing any crimes.
