tonight at ten - a group of iowans are in haiti helping diaster efforts there. if you have sandbags left over from recent flooding - curbside collection will be starting soon. hundreds of thousands of sandbags were made in anticipation for the highwater. people in cedar rapids will be able to have their sandbags picked up curbside starting on monday october car near the sandbags - and if the city thinks it should take three weeks to collect all the sandbags. a man on his way to catch a flight to georgia, is arrested on charges tied to his girlfriend's death. it happened in prairie du chien, wisconsin yesterday. police say this man jimmy mcdaniel was headed to the airport yesterday
