no one was hurt -- and now one man faces serious charges. the buchanan county sheriff's office was called to a home in aurora saturday night. investigators say dennis chamberlain was threatening a woman inside the home with a weapon. they say he then shot at law enforcement. a negotiator was brought in and after two hours --- chamberlain was arrested. he's been charged with several crimes -- including attempted murder. new details this afternoon: a man arrested after dubuque police responded to shots fired --is now charged with attempted murder. allegedly firing a gun in dubuque last week. a witness also telling police that a person known as little derrick aimed a handgun at burrell --but the gun jammed. they say the two men were meeting at a home on eighth street when burrell fired his weapon. nobody got hurt. investigators are working to figure out what happened after two people were found dead in iowa. the two were found inside a prairie city home. neighbors say this is the first

from new york jumped into action --- pulling them out. everyone is ok. man's best friend is also ok this morning -- after being rescued in the high water. the coast guard spotted a dog swimming in flood waters. a rescue worker standing on the roof of a flooded home tried to get the dog's attention. a coast guard chopper then lowered a rescue worker in a basket. although the camera loses sight of the dog, the dog eventually climbs onto a tree before being rescued. carolina because of matthew. a large tree fell on this home yesterday. the force of it knocked two "the neighbor was like are you supposed to do? and then the police and the fire department came and they tried to get me out of the house and i was trying to grab stuff that was my grandson's because i didn't

the edge of cedar falls. a good samaritan noticed his friendly face didn't look so happy out in the cold. she brought duke to her vet for a check up and he had quite the respiratory infection. she wasn't able to keep duke herself so a quick call to wpr and he was ours. he battled through the uri for over a month which was a tough one. he is much better now. despite a rough life in the outdoors for many years, he is nothing but a gentleman. and boy is he enjoying the good life inside! he will let you pick him up and he'll sit for pets for hours if you had the time. the only thing he loves more than being cuddled, is to play! little fur mice, catnip toys, you name it!! this guy is one happy camper with
