accused of robbing a restaurant and store at gunpoint. this happened at la placita in downtown waterloo, sunday afternoon police say a man walked in with a gun- demanding money... he was able to take off with some cash. kwwl's lauren moss speaking with store employees today- she joins us live, lauren. and they are pretty shaken up the same family has owned this downtown staple for the last 10 years..and they say something like this take a close look at the suspect. you can only see his eyes.. the store's surveillance camera shows the man with his face covered, waving around a gun..with the young woman behind the cashier, looking very scared. i spoke with an employee today who says the young woman screamed..and got the attention she screamed and the owner came running out but instead in trying to argue or fight with
