new at noon: a man sentenced to a decade behind bars - for breaking a baby's bones. this story is horrifying. 21-year-old william khuns, from charles city, got handed that sentence yesterday. he pleaded guilty to child endangerment - for hurting that baby until the point the child's ribs r nine broken bones. two people facing charges, for the death of a four- year-old girl, enter not guilty pleas. chad little is pleading not guilty to first degree murder. in the death of this little girl, gracie buss. she was found unconscious in her home in waterloo last year... and died at the hospital. autopsy results show she died of severe trauma to her head. gracie's mother and little's girlfriend, kristi buss, is charged with child endangerment. she's also pleading not guilty.

29th. a random attack. cedar falls police say that's what happened when two people were stabbed in a parking lot. adam jacobsen is accused of stabbing two people. he's now been charged with attempted murder. it happened at the university avenue studios yesterday afternoon. jeff miller -- who's 62 -- was stabbed first. police say he could die from his injuries. denice bennett was then attacked. she's 47. she's also in the hospital with serious injuries. no more details have been released, about what led up to the shooting deaths of two people. craig freilinger and sarah szabo were found dead in freeport sunday night - that's in winneshiek county. autopsies are now being done on their bodies. witnesses say they heard gunshots coming from the home. the two had dated and they recently broken up. a college student now faces charges, accused of sending a prank message about an active shooter at a university of iowa dorm. harrison tsimouris was arrested

text saying there was an active shooter on the u of i campus on police. campus police quickly determined there was no threat, but not before the dorm was evacuated. tsimouris is charged with filing a false report. the university of iowa is warning students of a third sexual assault reported to police this semester. a campuswide alert went out over the weekend a victim reported being approached outside a residence hall by a man before the assault happened. two other assaults were september 28th senator chuck grassley say's he's working to make medical cannabis oil available to all who need it. right now, a bill that would reclassify marijuana - to something other than a schedule one drug - is being blocked in the senate. it's being blocked by grassley. despite blocking the bill, he says he's working to make cannabis oil attainable for americans... that the quality isn't the same same on

grassley says he's pushing to clear up "red tape" on the federal end.. to make it easier to research cannabis oil specifically. epipens can save lives during allergic reactions -- but they need to be stored in a very specific way. the drug in the device needs to be protected from hot and cold t. active child. seattle parents -- inspired by their own child -- invented a special case for the epipen. they call it the epi-shell...
