rapids high school teacher -- accused of having a sexual relationship with one of her students -- wants her trial moved out of linn county. mary beth haglin wants a change of venue because of all the publicity. it's unclear when the court will rule on haglin's request. she's pleaded not guilty to a charge se authorities say she had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old boy who went to washington high school. her trial is set to begin november 14th. we now know the name of a seven- year-old boy, seriously injured after he's hit by a pickup. leighton pullin didn't look ways before crossing the street last night in waterloo he was hit on west 11th street intersection. the boy's mother told police her son was going to play at a

we've learned just hours before a man allegedly stabbed two people -- police spoke to the suspect. adam jacobsen is charged with two counts of attempted murder. police say he stabbed jeffery miller and denice bennett multiple times in cedar falls. they suffered serious injuries --but police believe they are stable. police believe he chose the victims randomly -- leaving others to wonder what would have happened im leaving november the 4th...i have to. i told james. see i all of a sudden the reality is, they could kill any of us..for no reason at all. in april and may of this year, jacobsen allegedly posted several facebook messages mentioning killing and mental illness. one saying quote "im craving murder." a man accused of staging his girlfriend's death as a suicide -- now faces homicide charges.

earlier this month. his girlfriend's body, 53-year-old linda kline, was found at her home in bridgeport township, wisconsin --just outside of prairie du chien. the la crosse tribute is now reporting kline's sister called 911 after mcdaniel found linda hanging from a bird feeder in the backyard. but kline had defensive wounds on her hands and arms. mcdaniel is currently in jail on a 500-thousand dollar bond. another deadly officer- involved shooting -- this one in michigan. officers responding to a report of man being held at gunpoint by another man. officers say they found nothing at the home but as they left -- claim a man came from the street and fired multiple shots at them. an officer fired back, hitting the suspect. she didn't see it coming -- but surveillance video inside the grocery store shows the terrifying moments. the video shows a man -- trying to take a child out of her mom's grocery cart. the girl's mother says he did not ask permission -- speaking only to the child and never to her. the man... who did not have a
