you are wanting to watch blindspot -- you can watch it on seven-point-one. it will air at 1:07 in the morning after last call with carson daly. continuing coverage a young boy remains in stable but critical condition tonight after being hit by a pickup truck. leighton pullin, of waterloo, suffering a fractured skull, brain swelling, broken wrist, this was the scene yesterday on west 11th street. leighton was trying to cross the street to go to a friend's house, when he was hit. he underwent emergency surgery last night which included putting a bolt in his brain to stop the bleeding. his mother says he's battling and won't give up. i go back there and i try to what's that like? it gives me

she says leighton is an energetic seven-year old..who loves being outside and says he's a great brother to his little sister. the driver, meanwhile is not facing charges after sticking around to help yesterday. a woman is arrested after leading authorities on a high-speed chase across eastern iowa. deputies in grundy county jennie myers, of bloomington, wisconsin. the chase reaching speeds of more than 100 miles per hour in a construction zone. they were finally able to stop her on u-s 20 near manchester after using stop sticks. myers is facing multiple charges including owi and eluding --and remains in the hardin county jail without bond.

on federal gun charges. 20-year-old demarcus timmons pleading guilty to illegal possession of a firearm. he was arrested in connection to a shots fired near 19th and jackson streets back in march. officers found a backpack near the scene with a handgun inside, which belonged to timmons he was not allowed to have any weapons after a previous domestic assault conviction. new at ten -- an area high school is forced to forfeit its final varsity football game of the year due to not having enough players. waterloo east high was set to play cedar falls tomorrow --but will no longer play the game because of injuries and low participation numbers at east high. a trend which has been occuring at east for several years now. kwwl's jessica hartman joins us

crews in portland were working in the area when they hit a gas line. they reported the leak and decided to evacuate the building just minutes before it exploded. three firefighters, one police officer, and three others were injured, but are all expected to be ok. new surveillance video shows a dramatic and deadly school bus the top right part of your screen coming up. you can see the bus crash right into a cement pillar at the denver international airport last month. the driver was picking up students and staff after a football trip. the driver was killed in the crash --15 students and three coaches were also injured. a pilot forced to make an emergency landing without his nose gear.

it's troubling. congressman blum actually co-sponsored a bill that could make it legal for a woman to be fired just for being pregnant. and blum tried to defund planned parenthood, even though women depend on it for critical care, like cancer screenings. i was diagnosed with breast cancer, and i know it was early detection that made a difference. it's not a political issue. it's about caring about all of our people here in this country.

indians rookie ryan merritt tosses four scoreless innings in just his second career start--- merritt strikes out melvin upton... cleveland got a couple of solo homers---carlos santan rips this marcos estrada cutter deep to right... to make it 2-0 indians. and in the fourth--- coco crisp with a homer to right---and cleveland is going to the world series after beating toronto 3-0. "i'm honored that we're going to special because this family feel as you can get in a professional setting. so for that art of it, it is beyond feeling good." cleveland will now wait to face the winner of the cubs and dodgers
