truck and a tractor collide. the iowa state patrol says the accident happened along 165th street -- northeast of manchester this morning. officers on scene bleieve the truck sideswiped a tractor going the opposite direction. the truck then crashed into a roadside ditch -- killin the driver. an investigation into the crash is ongoing. police in waterloo respond to a report of a burglary today. a woman living along prospect boulevard called police saying she bedroom. he reportedly then ran out of a side door. officers say they were able to track down a suspect -- as that investigation also continues tonight. continuing coverage tonight into the tragic deaths of two iowa police officers this week. as the suspect makes a court appearance today and remains in custody on a 10- million-dollar bond -- the two victims are being honored

today -- central iowa police holding an escort through des moines for the fallen officers. several businesses along the route had flags up as the police escort came through with the hearse carrying the officers' bodies. memorials for sergeant anthony beminio of the des moines police department and urbandale officer justin martin -- also being set up here in eastern iowa. in dubuque -- a couple of local businesses honoring those officers. kwwl's brad hanson joins us live to talk about these memoria this is a tragedy that's hit close to home for many throughout the state. and that's why people here in dubuque are doing what they can to help out. for the next two days, this table will remain empty--a reminder of how fragile life can be. that wasn't the case one part of the southwest. strong storms kicking up a dust storm in parts of arizona. the national weather service issued a blowing dust advisory as the storm blew over roads and communities. the dust storm was triggered by a thunderstorm with heavy rain and small hail. a scary -- and unusl unfolds at a retirement community today -- when a squirrel goes into attack mode. ths happening in florida -- as police there say the victim was taking in some sun when a squirrel latched onto her leg and wouldn't let go. the squirrel then ran inside the center and started attacking other residents -- biting and scratching several others. two residents and a staff member were taken to the hospital to get treated for bites. the retirement community says

good evening, i'm rick coleman. it's the second round of the state football playoffs. tonight 48 teams in six classes are in class 2-a tonight in west union, top ranked north fayette valley in a rematch with union -- the knights lost big in the first one -- but tonight was a different story -- isaiah vaughn breaks free on a 70 yard touchdown run -- union would hold a 7, nothinge -- but north fayette valley responded -- on fourth and goal -- josh guenther makes the seven yard touchdown grab on the pass from tate hovden -- tigerhawks were still down one after missing the extra point -- and they just couldn't stop vaughn -- fires in from the five -- knights with an eight point edge -- then just before half -- they'd capitalize on a turnover deep in tigerhawk territory -- vaughn with his third touchdown --
