the crash happened november 5th. police say a car going more than 100 miles an hour slammed into another car as both were heading west on highway 57 in downtown cedar falls. that car was driven by charles brooks- he was arrested for serious injury by vehicle. inside his car, his wife, 7 year old daughter and cousin- 38 year old cynthia brooks who died in that crash. her funeral was held today in waterloo- and there are still as it is, cynthia's sister says she forgives her cousin. "i can't have any hate in my heart because i just knew how he felt ..i don't know what was happening but i can't carry that on my shoulders because i have to be strong." cedar falls police say charles

amanda/ron-this is just one of a number of abandoned buildings in waterloo. and for some homeless people - like chad bruce who was rescued live in these buildings instead of shelters in the area. now chad bruce is left without a place to stay. he's been homeless since may. but he says he's choosing to not seek help at a shelter. shelters-like the salvation army offer both shorr housing to help the homeless get back on their feet. the salvation army says it's a two way street for those seeking help-the homeless have to be willing to follow the rules and regulations. "it's gonna be too cold for abandoned buildings you know, i don't know what i'll do, but something will happen you know. bruce wants to clear the misconception that he's not lazy but instead dealing with a muiltitude of anxiety issues that make it
