foster baby is the inspiration behind the hangers of an iowa organization... grundy county mom kristle ( davis was a foster kid.... and she grew up to become a foster parent... and when a baby showed change. kwwl's amanda gilbert has that story two year old kaden was a foster baby... but when he "we went into it thinking we were going to do older sibling sets of kids, and so this baby showed up at our house and we found ourselvess needing some items, o and crib sheets and a baby monitor.." that moment reminded kristle what it was like when she was in the foster system... "so my first few foster homes that i went to i literally had a couple changes of clothes and that is it. and i had a black garbage sack." she recognized a problem... "it was about dignity and self

student who drowned while in police custody will receive a nine- million dollar payout this coming from the state of missouri brandon ellingson was 20 when he drowned in may of 20-14 after being stopped for boating while intoxicated on the lake of the ozarks ellingson was handcuffed when he say a life jacket he was wearing came off over 80-thousand dollars is missing from an eastern iowa's jail account this according to state auditors...it's all about the muscatine county jail the audit examined the sheriff's office accounts between 20-13 and 20-16 they're also saying jail records were inadequate...so they couldn't know for sure what happened to that money it will all be reviewed to

after a video surfaces of a police officer punching a woman in the face take a look hey you can't punch a woman two officers appear to be trying to arrest a woman... as the woman struggles with the handcuffs, an officer punches her people who were watching yelled at the officer this before they were able to arrest the woman and put her in the back of a police car. there is still an ongoing investigation into the incident the search continues tonight for the driver of a car who narrowly escaped a deadly train accident this is surveillance video of the car and train from last night you can see a car trying to cross the tracks when they were hit by a train the impact was so great it split the car in half luckily, no one was hurt... but the driver and a passenger in that car ran from the scene a store is damaged after an explosion rocked the town this
