convicted of first degree murder in september. authorities say stern shot his 27- year-old daughter 15 times with three different guns at their home last year. stern had asked for a new trial, but was denied. a man accused of attempting to abduct and sexually assault a girl, agrees to a plea deal. 21-year-old robert robbins, of dubuque, pleading guilty to enticing a minor under the age of 13. accorg from our coverage partners at the telgraph herald, robbins grabbed the girl as she was walking home from school in march of 2015. he apparently pulled her to a shed, but she was able to get away. robbins is expected to be given a suspended ten-year prison sentence. sentencing is set for a day care worker convicted of injuring a 15- month old boy. dianna winder found guilty of child endangerment causing

marks on his face when she picked him up from winder's home in maurice last november. winder claims she did not hit the boy but was arrested and charged. her sentencing is set for january ninth. a driver slams into a woman's living room as she's sitting inside. the crash happening over the weekend on prospect avenue in waterloo. a massive hole left in the side of the home after the driver ba and a lot of debris scattered all over the living room. the hit.
