able to save the main building. he says they had started gathering computers and files from the office--because he thought he may lose that building too-- but firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading. which is just amazing--because check out the size of this fire-- the fire chief tells me they kept water on the main building to keep the fire from spreading over there-- take a look at the rubble left hert one woman tells me--this situation turned out the best that it could have. "i'm glad it really, like it wasn't a holidays. i'm super greatful that it didn't come across the street and it didn't effect just, i'm super thankful that it didn't cause anybody to lose their life." the owner--ecoing that thought process today--

was thrown to the ground two times--saying the oil drums caused the explosions. "they had used oil stored in fifty five gallon drums and as the oil heats up and expands with all the flames around it it's gotta go somewhere and that's where it goes, up in the air" today--the barrels sit charred in the rubble. stand-up "one firefighter telling me when he walked up to the blaze he was immediatly soaked bi another fire fighter that is on scene here today says his suit is still wet" many firefighters working hard all day on thanksgiving--one prarieburg firefighter sent to the hosptial. "basically what is was was he over exhurted himself, when you show up at a fire i don't care who you are as a fire fighter you do your job, sometimes you work a little harder, spend a little more time doing it and forget about the consquences later and that's
6:04 pm
"luckily we had enough departments around that still had guys around so because it could have been a different story if they had been out of town" a day later--firefighters are still preventing the fire from spreading. firefighters telling me they all could have easily over exhurted themselves yesterday. they also say they may never know the cause of the fire. live in central city...taylor baile.n of the pictures from the fire yesterday on our website, you can check it out on kwwl dot com. let's go to storm track seven meteorologist kyle kiel now for your weekend outlook from the kwwl stormtrack 7 weather team. see the screen for your complete stormtrack 7 weather team: clouds will slowly clear out today... it may take all day,
