we have a very mild start today. nicole you came in early. you have been outside. if you have in the been outside look at how bright it is starting to get. we have a beautiful picture here in kutztown. look at that 55 degrees right now. no wind. just an absolutely stellar start to the day. we have no problems, really expect at all today, notice there are a few clouds off to the west and also, farther to the west of that, that is an area of some showers, i think as we move in the overnight time period and tomorrow we may fine those showers moving in our area. but in the interim we have great looking weather coming up today. 64 degrees right now, that is temperature we have at the airport but it is now 68 degrees through center city. fifty-nine trenton. sixty-four wilmington. fifty-six up in the allentown area yesterday we hit 84 degrees. today we will be, a degree or to higher then that. maybe we will get to 85, six or seven, mid to upper 80's

today. sun and clouds. very warm. as we put our future weather in motion we will find we have one or two clouds moving into 1:00 o'clock this afternoon and then as we move in the nighttime hearst do we start to see a couple of hours moving in the area we will finish out that time line. it is an unsettled week but summer-like one so we will check out those temperatures too, nicole. new this morning philadelphia police are investigating a deadly road rage shooting in the feltonville neighborhood. it happened near 500 block of west roosevelt boulevard. investigators tell us a driver and motorcycle will driver got in the heated argument when one opened fire. four three-year old man was shot multiple times in the chest and leg and died at the hospital. thirty-one year-old woman was shot twice and he is in stable condition. there is no word on who fired shots and police arrested a person of interest at that scene. also new, winslow township police are investigating a shooting at a wawa. person was shot at wawa

located on the 400 block of sickler will road there is no word on the victim's condition or if the shooting happened inside or outside that wawa. also a by i can will list suffers a broken leg overnight when he was hit by a car in center city. accident happened at 15th and vine streets. the driver did remain at the the scene, investigators say alcohol does not appear to have played a role in that accident so no one was charged. a water main break in north philadelphia, damages two properties, now the the break left a gaping hole on master street between 26th and 27th. "eyewitness news" reporter syma chowdhry is live where that road is actually closed, this morning, syma. >> reporter: that is right, nicole, crews are done trying to secure this area i will take a step back so you cane this gaping hole in the intersection of master street and 27th street. a big, big issue here, in north philadelphia. now we have video of what it looked like overnight, since

water main break was reported a little bit before midnight it is a 36-inch break. we are getting word this is kind of a good news/bad news situation. the good news is that the brake happened and a large transition main which means none of the homes are dealing with a loss of water, and disruption in their service but bad news is obviously that this is going to cause traffic issues and on top of that as nicole mentioned two properties, one commercial, one residential found water in their seller. now, crews are here on the scene. they are trying to secure the area. obviously it will take a lot have time to fix this break and this large hole here but again as i said got news is in of the homes are dealing with any loss of water or disruption of water service. we are in north philadelphia, syma chowdhry for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". well, comedian tracie morgan remains in critical

condition this morning after being injured in the deadly chain reaction crash. "eyewitness news" was first to report that morgan was involve in this accident. it happened around 1:00 a.m. yesterday morning on new jersey turnpike in cranberry township middle sex county. morgan was returning from a comedy show in delaware. authorities charged the driver of the wal-mart tractor trail their says he cause that had pile up this cell phone varied ohio was taken after the crash happened. "eyewitness news" reporter malt math rivers has more on the crash investigation. >> reporter: this exclusive video shows how devastating this crash really was. that is the limb he bus that tracie morgan and six others were riding in early saturday morning on their way back from the stand up comedy show at dover downs, delaware. this he were driving on the new jersey turnpike near cranberry township around 1:00 a.m. when a tractor trailer slam in the back of their limo bus. middlesex county prosecutors say the truck driver failed to notice traffic slowing down in front of him, ensuing crash

overturning the limo, minister again and six others were inside. six three-year old james mcnair a comedian himself was pronounced dead at the scene. another comedian arty was critically injured as well was 36 year-old jeffery mallea. both men are in critical condition along with 45 year old tracie minister again. fifth man was treated and released while two others were not injury. six vehicles in total were involve in the chain reaction crash. only those inside morgan's limo were injured. we're told by a representative of the family that tracie morgan is surrounded by family members as he struggles to recover from this terrible accident. we're in new brunswick, new jersey, matt rivers, cbs-3 eyewitness news. wal-mart's president released a statement that says in part we are working quickly to understand what happened and are cooperating full which law enforcement to aid their investigation. if it is determine that our truck cause that had accident, wal-mart will take full responsibility.

bullet struck 34 year old joanna miller in the head, she died with her 22 week old unborn child. montgomery county d.a.'s office concluded march 7th shoots was negligent but accidental. so tragic. man is shot and killed in philadelphia's overbrook neighborhood. "eyewitness news" at 5400 block of hunt are street. police say that the 25 year-old victim was shot in the back around 1:00 saturday morning. he was rush to the hospital of the university of pennsylvania where he was pronounced dead. so far no suspects have been arrested. search is on for cause of the apartment fire, in pennsauken, camden county. flames broke out in the 5500 block of high land avenue around 6:30 saturday morning. one person was overcome by smoke and then taken to the hospital. no word on a condition. cause of the fire still being investigated. also fire badly damages a flower shop in glass blow gloucester county. happened on rose budd flooral just after 1:00 o'clock.

like weather, nicole, and i know you do, forecast for you and forecast for everybody else who likes that kind of weather because it is mild today. we already have temperatures have of 07 degrees through center city philadelphia it will be slightly warmer then it was yesterday when we hit 84 degrees. we're some 20 degrees from that right now at 64. fifty-nine up in trenton. sixty-four in wilmington. forty-nine in the poconos a long the shore temperatures are in the 50's. so a mild start to the day, just great though you can open up the windows and not have have to pay for what we had to pay for all winter long which is getting, one of the companies involved in our comfort inside our own houses. we are looking at a few clouds. they are off to the west. they are going to be in the had big of a deal as we go through morning hours. the later on this afternoon and after around 4:00 o'clock or so we will see more in the way of clouds. this is going to hold off until the earliest overnight time period and then might find something tomorrow morning as well but i'll show

thaw as we time it out. our temperatures today we should be getting to 87 degrees. there his no guarantee we will hit 87 but that is the the forecast for today. the normal high this time of the year is eight 16789 the record 97 degrees and that was set three years ago, 2011. it was a very warm day at that point. now what we have got today are warm temperatures. they will be well up in the 80's today, nice, because it is still with relatively low humidity but we will start to pick that humidity up as this front low pressure starts to move closer to us, so by monday we're just barely at 80 degrees. we might even stop at 79 degrees and then we're right back in the 80's after that but we have some shower chances coming up monday and tuesday and you might fine them on a few or days next week, as well. so lets time this out. this is the the computer model that goes out in time. i'll stop it every so often like right now 1:00 o'clock in the afternoon this computer

back on "eyewitness news" with the story of a couple brothers from michigan, they are 14 and seven year-old and as jim axle rod reports they are talking about a pur of sharing a load. >> reporter: at the age of 14, hunter has been giving his young are brother braid den a lift for years. >> i was six so i was old enough to know about cerebral palsy. i knew he would have difficulty walking. and he may never be able to do it on his own. >> reporter: a lift is one thing but what hunter is doing for brayden this weekend is so much more than that. cp is a disorder resulting from brain damage that effects three-quarters of a million americans. the hunter, wants to raise awareness about cp and is in the middle of carrying brayden 40 miles on his back, there their hometown of in michigan to the university of michigan

today then there were yesterday but still nice looking sunday. it starts, already. look at ocean city, the beach will have a number of people on it because temperatures at the shore should be right around 80 degrees. the the ocean is warming up. not yet 70 degrees but more moving in that direction. it looks nice there. the is there a farm field and school field you can see soccer field here. 56 degrees right now. kutztown area middle school and just beautiful with that farm beyond but notice the sky. you can see the cirrus clouds and you can see them on storm scan three if you look closely enough. is there a thicker little band from the poconos, down through wilmington and cumberland and salem counties but that is moving through and then we will get brightening. it will not be cloudy and cloud covered today but we will find a few clouds out there along with the sunshine. 64 degrees in philadelphia 64 wilmington. 59 degrees in trenton. the ocean temperature warming up at 67 degrees and the air

crews are having to deal with. a gaping hole in the middle of the master street, intersection of master street and 27th street all because of a 36-inch water main break that happened a little bit before midnight. we have video of what it looked like overnight. now this water main break, of course, like i said is causing some major issues but one of the better issues here is that it is a little bit of a pressure issue but the homes here do not have the disruption to their water services but there were two properties, one commercial, one residential that woke up this morning with water in their cellar. that is an issue they have to deal w crews are on the scene. there is not much they can do right now. they are holding off and making sure that they secure the area, because this is such a massive hole in the middle of the street. the reason why the water isn't being disrupted at the homes is because this is a large transition main.

that is why it work out that way. again, right now you for those folks living around that area they are waking up to a major mess and, of course, a huge hole in the street. we have talk with crews who said they are not quite sure exactly when they would be able to fix all this but they are expecting crew toss show up later in the day. live from north philadelphia, syma chowdhry for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". well, police charge the truck driver whom they say triggered yesterday's deadly chain reaction crash that left actor tracie minister again in critical condition. "eyewitness news" was first to report that morgan was involved in that accident. this is video on have that mangled limo bus being hauled away. police say driver of the wal-mart tractor trailer rear ended the bus causing a six car pile up on the new jersey turnpike. one person died, morgan and two others are fighting for their lives. cbs correspondent omar villafranca has the latest on the investigation. >> reporter: passerby captured tracie morgan's chauffeured limo bus lying on its side on

the new jersey turnpike. police say a tractor trailer hit the bus early saturday morning causing a chain reaction that involved six vehicles. morgan was taken to a new jersey hospital and is now in critical condition. one of his writers was kill in the accident. the comic was returning from the live performance in delaware as part of the multi city stand up tour. the his publicist released this statement to cbs news. the his family is now with him and he is receiving excellent care. we don't anticipate much of a change in his condition today. >> i'm tracie minister again. >> reporter: morgan started in stand up but best none for his time saturday night live and his role in the comedy 30 rock. >> every week, like a shark week. >> reporter: he appeared on cbs this morning in april to talk about his new comedy tour. how do you feel up there on the stage by yourself. >> it is exilerating. there is nothing in the world like live entertainment. >> reporter: the 45 year-old has three sons from a previous relationship and one year-old daughter he had with his
