send your picks on facebook and twitter use hash tag cbs-3 storms breaking news a chester county music teacher is facing charges tonight, anton fauxman of east pikeland was a music teacher at malvern school have of music and he is accused of sexually abusing three children. fauxman is originally from russia. he is said to have work at that school for four years. his alleged victims are younger than eight. he conduct private lessons inside of his home. his bail has been set at $300,000 cash. we will have more on him tonight on "eyewitness news" at 11:00. also, in vineland, the police are looking for this man, they say that he, along with the another man, kidnaped and raped a 21 year-old woman last movement two men forced the woman inside an older model white honda on pine street in millville. the victim then told police she was attacked on hand

saturday and sunday. penndot has once again delayed construction on the section of the interstate i-95 northbound. crews need better wet tore paint new traffic lines and shift traffic between allegheny and good are regard. once that traffic is shift penndot can begin rebuild ago this section of the road. shifting of the traffic is now set for monday june 23rd. city lawmakers are weighing their options as they try to generate more money for philadelphia school district. today council took a big step in closing the budget gap. bear bones bubbling it and staff that it has. students and staff say they cannot afford anymore cuts. as student and parents rally inside city hall, and outside governor corbett's center city offices, teachers sounded off at bartram high school in south philadelphia. >> i call it the trail of kid. >> reporter: their audience mayor michael nutter on his listening tour, teachers and staff gave him an ear full as they struggle with budget cuts and as entire district faces a 216 million-dollar budget short fall for next school year. >> there were several vacancies never fill the entire year. >> reporter: over five years bartram teachers have have seen a 40 percent reductionness staff and impact they say are obvious. >> truancy, it is just a big problem. >> reporter: bartram has one full-time nurse but she sees it as a blessing and curse.

for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". fire reduces a popular delaware county restaurant in a pile of ruble. eyewitness news captured flames pouring through the the roof of the toll house tavern in chester pike in norwood. now lets take a look at is what left. this all started around 12:30 with the grease fire in the kitchen that fire then spread quickly, patrons and bar employees were able to get out safely. one fire fighter suffered a minor injury. one of two men charge in the shooting death of the philadelphia police officer cuts a deal that allows him to escape a life term in prison two. one year-old chancer mcfarland pled guilty to third degree murder for his role in the death have of officer moses walker. in exchange he has agreed to testify begins the alleged gunman rafael jones. officer walker was shot and killed during a robbery in august of 2012. remains of five american soldiers killed in a friendly fire attack in afghanistan are back on u.s. soil in delaware. a dignified transfer of remains for three of the

a second super mark is opening up in the city of chester to much fanfare and excitement. >> hundreds of residents line up around the block to see what the new bottom dollar food store has to offer. syma chowdhry takes us, inside. >> reporter: these customers don't mind waiting for a good deal but it has been a long time coming. >> prices are great, a great selection, and i'm really happy to be here. >> reporter: bottom dollar food store opened in the city of chester and shoppers were filling up their carts. normally store openings aren't a big deal but it is for chester resident. >> between customers and their associates everybody is excited about the store

opening. >> reporter: take a look at this picture, shopper snapped it when the store opened. >> we had a huge start, line wrapped around the building. >> reporter: for ten years chester was a food desert. people had to leave the city to get fresh fruits and vegetables. philabundance opened up the fair and square grocery store last fall but this is first retail grocery chain in years. >> by the time we had a super market for people to come too we don't to have travel so far to get what we need. >> reporter: stories convenient and created beyonds. >> it may be the end of the food desert but beginning of economic development for the city. >> reporter: even though there are no major grocery stores in chester store officials plan to keep their prices competitive. >> we will match any competitor's prices and beat them by a penny. >> reporter: according to the three on your side report, of the grocery stores in the delaware valley, bottom dollar came out on top when it comes to savings beating retailers like whole foods, shop rite and wegmans. >> it is much needed.

take a look outside where we have ominous skies, lots of clouds, drizzle, air grass of fog you name it. this view from campbell's field cam looking across ben franklin bridge towards philadelphia. it is glummy every where from the city to the shore, drizzle down the shore, coats, jeans required, it is cool down there tonight, not looking like beach weather but it will by the time we make it toward the weekend. you can see everything lifting up from the south, tore the north and most of the activity, right around the delaware line, lifting toward the north and toward the west. we have more heavy rain down near norfolk and this will all move northward during late night hours. if you are not seeing rain now you will be seeing it later on tonight. you can see this line along chesapeake moving through chester county, lancaster county and up through reading and through allentown. i want to do a track on this, this heavy rain has a rain rate of half inch an hour and it is moving toward the north

east between 15 and 20 miles an hour and at that speed it will be making tonight to reading, kutztown, and continue on this track towards 222 within the next half an hour or so. if you are in the line here of 176, 422, or 222, you will be seeing pockets of heavy rain, heavy downpours on these areas roads. you can see in reading by 6:41. exiter by 6:49. even pottstown by 7:02. potential for some pockets of heavy rain. that flash flood watch will continue right through late night hours for good part of the region along i-95 corridor and adjacent suburbs. that is with pockets of heavy rain to create pond ing on area roads potential for flash flooding but as nighttime hours wear on, that threat will be reduced. we have rain cooled temperatures. allentown 70. poconos foggy all day with the temperature of 64 in philadelphia. it is 75 degrees. we will look to changing conditions as this warm front

will continue to lift northward through the region, increasingly humid. during the day on friday. we will see a break. some sunshine. that creates more instability in the atmosphere. it will be warm, humid this cool front moves through late in the day. sets off showers and thunderstorms. i do think rain will come through as a line of showers and storms and heavy downpours but behind that clearing conditions. really nice conditions as far as sky is concern. that deep blue sky returns, low humidity, comfortable weather can highs in the 80's and that continues through fathers day. tonight we will expect some spotty showers. few isolated storms possible north and west low of 68. then for your friday scatter showers, then are storms in the afternoon, high temperature going to 81 degrees. looking to the weekend it is looking better, two weeks ago we had sunshine, last week, plenty of sunshine, this will be the the third week even in the row, with sunny skies and mild conditions. another winning weekend after
