most locations, warming up easily in the 80s, so really feeling and looking like summer but eventually some storms to talk becomes we'll tell you when. >> 5:00 o'clock straight up on a monday morning, looking liver at brand new traffic pattern, penndot did some work over the weekends and we're rolling on new road surface coming into downtown. i'll have the rest of the details and check mass transit coming up next. ukee, good morning. >> investigation right now, two armed robberies to tell but minutes apart on the main line. first one happened around 1:30 this morning sunoco gas station in conshohocken, city line avenue, held the clerk up at gunpoint, made off with unknown amount of cash. we understand that suspect is still on the loose. a second robbery happened short time later at the 7-eleven on city avenue in penn wynn. police say the suspect was armed with a knife and demanded cash. no one was hurt here either. unclear at the moment how much the rob r got away with. police are looking to see if the two robberies are

connected. erika? >> ukee, philadelphia police need your help this morning, they are looking for a rapist who attacked a young doctor, in her rittenhouse square apartment. "eyewitness news" reporter syma chowdhry joins us now, at police headquarters with the surveillance video, investigators hope will crack this case. syma? >> that's right. erika, police have released this video in hopes that someone can identify this man, who they say followed a 26 year old and to her rittenhouse square apartment. he first followed her on a bike, he locked up his bike, and then he started following her by foot. >> this video may not be clear, but it is clear to see this suspect is bold. we're getting a look at a man who police say first followed his victim on bike, then by foot. the camera catches the suspect approaching the victim from behind, grabbing her waist, and according to sources, threatening and ordering the victim into her apartment near 19th and spruce streets early saturday morning. >> once inside, police say,

the suspect raymond the 26 year old, then fled with her cell phone and keys. sources say the victim was so traumatized, she did not even realize the suspect left. we're told the suspect returned short time later, because he left his messenger bag behind, and police say, the suspect rapes the victim again. when the man left a second time, the woman called 191 right away. >> very upsetting, very surprising, and very angry. >> thighs women do not know the victim who is a doctor, but work at the same hospital and life nearby. >> i found out about it because our program director emailed all of the girls in our program, asked if we were okay. >> what's not okay? city officials say, not enough real time surveillance cameras throughout the city. city council president, darryl clark, says incidents like this proof there is a need for better crime fighting technology. >> we just have prevented this particular problem, i don't know, but the reality is where

ever we have the ability, real time surveillance, we need to do it. >> and, suspect is being described as a hispanic male, mid to late 20's, five-five, to five-ten, at the time, he was wearing a black t-shirt and bluejeans. if you have any information, you are being asked to come forward. in the meantime, police officials say they hope to release more surveillance video later today. live from police headquarters, syma chowdhry, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> in a few hours we could learn more about the sandusky child molestation investigation. how police and prosecutors handled the case. governor tom corbett was attorney general in 2009 when the sandusky investigation began. , cane raised questions about the case when running for attorney general two years ago. sources tell cbs news found no evidence politics played a role in any important decisions in the case. center city. here is a live look from our center city cameras. coming southbound between girard and center city, that new stretch that they've been working on for two and a half years, ring the bell, finally complete, everybody's pushed over to the far right. and of course, that opens up that center area, as the next phase of the construction. headed southbound, pay attention, pretty much between allegheny and girard avenue. that new pattern, pushed over to the right. and then all this week, penndot will be among other lanes over, as women. so this next five days here all the way through friday we'll see something new developing on i-95. and a new project, begins tonight, along the stretch of route 55. new jersey dot will rebuild and repair about 50 bridges to a whole stretch here. but they promise it is not going to happen on the weekend. only going to work monday through thursday between gloucester county and cumberland county. so see the cones go up there

amtrak train collided when truck just after midnight, the train was caring more than 22 people headed for boston. this crash happened just south of there, in the town of mansfield. no one on the train was hurt, still no word about anyone in the truck. crews are now investigating the tracks to see if service can resume this morning.

we'll keep you up-to-date. >> risky rescue in southern california after hikers got trapped by this growing wild fire. now, they had no where to go, but up. when the flames burned through some mountains, rescuers used helicopter to pluck those four hikers, from nearby trail. the fire quickly spread from just 10 acres to more than 150 in just matter of hours. us soccer star is due in court today after spending the weekends behind bars. the long time goalie of the us women's national soccer team was arrested early saturday morning, after domestic dispute. it all happened at her home knee seattle. authorities satisfy say she assaulted dollars her own next ooh, and appeared to be intoxicated at the time. here is your traffic and weather together on the 3's. >> good morning, everybody, very happy monday to you, looking ahead to nice day. and at the moment, you know, still little sticky outside. got to be honest. humidity isn't terrible just yet. that will change with time. looking at pretty steamy
