construction cranes were finally able to see some light, at the end of the tunnel the, the headlights rolling on new stretch of concrete along i-95. i'll have all of the details that will impact your commute this morning. we will check mass transit coming up next, good morning. >> bob, thank you. a rape cyst on the loose in center city philadelphia, putting many women on high alert. >> "eyewitness news" reporter syma chowdhry joins us now from police headquarters with surveillance video that detectives want everyone to see. same, a good morning. >> good morning, ukee, erika. police are trying to catch the man they say followed a 26 year old woman to her rittenhouse square apartment. and then raped her twice. they've released this surveillance video, they say, that the man was on a bike, followed the woman, he got off the bike, locked it up, then approached the woman by foot. you can see, the suspect approaching the victim from behind, and grabbing her waist. now, sources say, he threatened and ordered the victim into her apartment near

19th and spruce streets. once inside, police say, the suspect raped the 26 year old, then fled with her cell phone and keys. we're told the suspect returned a short time later, because he left his messenger bag behind, that's when police say the suspect raped the victim again. when the man left the second time, the woman called 911. now, city officials are speaking out against this crime. saying there is a need for real-time surveillance cameras. >> our police department does a great job, but woe need to give them a way to project their ability to monitor some of these dangerous conditions out here in the community. and, suspect is being described as a hispanic male, mid to late 20's, about five-five, to five-ten, at the time wearing black t-shirt, and bluejeans. now, police are asking for the public's help, if you have any information, you are being asked to come forward. in the meantime, officials hope to release more surveillance video later today. live at police headquarters,

morning rush hour. new traffic pattern to play with here. going outside, live look, at 422, on the right, folks headed inbound in toward the king of prussia interchange. light volume so far this morning, the roads are dry, but hey, we got brand new traffic pattern for you. for about two years, we've been driving south on 95, and we've seen the cranes in the construction crews here, between girard and center city. well, on friday night, penndot moved all of the traffic over to the newly constructed stretch of the roadway. so coming from northeast philly, girard and center city, see new pattern there, pushed off to the right, and that opens up that center lane for the new construction zone. and then, in delaware, if you are coming back from the delaware beaches, this morning, route 13 northbound, watch for construction, excuse me, accident blocking the right many to northbound 295. so if you are coming from the delaware beaches this morning, you may want to use route one to connect with i-95. and a crash over here, in evesham, new jersey, evesham road closed between 73 and crescent road. so traffic diverted onto

crescent at least for the moment. downed pole and wires here in moorestown, along route 38 and nixon drive. otherwise, mass transit looking good. ukee, back over to you. >> thank you, bobment in the news this morning, playing vests two armed robberies happened just minutes apart on the main line. the first one happened around 1:30 this morning at sun cocoa gas station at conshohocken and the city avenue in billion akin wood. man armed with a gun took monet took off in a get-away car. a second robbery happened nearby at this 7-eleven on city nef penn wynn. police say the suspect held clerk at knife point, escaped on foot. unclear how much the robber got away with. police are looking to see if the two robberies could possibly be connected. also, search on for suspect who tried to abduct teenager outside a wawa. it happened yesterday afternoon, on the 6400 block of torresdale avenue and talcony. police say a man in his 30's approached 15 year old boy. we're told that suspect fled

surveillance video shows suspect grabbing a woman along the 1900 block of spruce street, early saturday morning. police say that suspect sexually assaulted the woman, and robbed her. also, pennsylvania attorney general, kathleen cane can expect new report on the jerry sandusky sex abuse case. cane says the report has new information on how police and prosecutors handled that case. us secretary of state, john kerrey; in iraq, to meet with shiite and kurdish leaders, discussing possible assistance the us can offer against sunni militants, those militants have gained control over towns in northern and western iraq. >> coming up on 5:53, time for traffic and weather together.

police say the suspect held the clerk up with a gun and madoff with a unknown amount of cash. that clerk was not hurt. then, just short time later, a 7-eleven on city avenue in win win was held up at knife point. no one was injured. it is unclear how much money that robber got away with, police are looking to see if the two robberies are connected. good morning, everyone, in other news this morning, fear and concern after woman is raped twice in her apartment in rittenhouse square. her attacker still on the loose. >> he was, however, caught on surveillance video. police hope that these images lead to his arrest.
