headache because they keep flip flopping. >> they cannot make up their mine. that makes me crazy. >> but they are in more agreement, thank goodness and it bodes well for our weekend. however, there is always a caveat it looks like we may be left with wet weather issues today, maybe even tomorrow. not the asterrible as what we saw through the overnight. you can still see retreat of the thunderstorms but timing is everything, so, at least a lot of us were already off the roads through the overnight and maybe it just woke you up and you are cranky because of it but we are starting to see things clear out but we are not out of the woods just yet. we will track whatever is left of this system and i'll have full details on the rest of the forecast all coming up, guys, back to you. happening today new jersey lawmakers on the budget committees of the assembly and senate will cast their final votes on the democratic version of the budget. $34.1 billion spending plan realize on hefty tax increases

on businesses and millionaires and it makes the full pension payment required by law. also happening today preliminary hearing is scheduled in philadelphia for douglass casey, who is accused of assaulting and robbing the hand on the gay dating app grinder. he assaulted a tourist in the center city hotel in april. he then forced the man who withdraw money from several atm's and purchase $2,000 in vees gift card. two of the convicted abortion doctor former assistant are scheduled for sentence to go day. tina baldwin and linda williams pled guilty for their work in gosnell's west philadelphia clinic. williams accepted third degree murder charges in the death of babies born live. baldwin admitted she illegally performed some medical tooth is, her 15 year old daughter also work at the clinic. today the neshaminy school board will vote on a controversial policy for its student newspaper, the revised policy will allow the newspaper to use the name of the mascot redskins on its

editorials and letters to the editor but not on news stories. the newspaper editors have been at odds with the board and administrators since voting to ban the word last fall. here's katie again with traffic and weather together, good morning. >> we will start off here for you with a hazy, cloudy view out over ben franklin bridge and generally speaking things are starting to dry out for us. that is what looks generally speaking. we are not out of the woods just yet because low pressure trying to retreat. it will not quite happen just yet, that transition. so we are stuck between the two. center city okay, damp roads for sure. still steamy. if you are out traveling you'll note that is steam still coming off of the roadways because it was so hot yesterday but lets take a look next at storm scan three, tri-state sweep to show you where retreat has happened with that wet weather that is all out to sea. we are still feeling effects of the humidity, still steamy outside as i mentioned and

live look at i-95 right here near academy road and northeast philadelphia, from woodhaven on into academy. nice ride, further south you go toward the city you pick up that new traffic pattern just south of the betsy and that new stretch of roadway down towards girard. we're in good shape. roads are damp and wet from the thunder boom their rolled through last night, and on the overnight. schuylkill expressway looking good here, and beginning our trip at king of prussia again no major problems at all. we had a little bump here in the road yesterday, the wilmington regional rail line services suspended for afternoon rush hour. everything is back to normal and expected to operate on schedule this morning. so that is good news for septa riders. accident over here in south jersey just outside of fort dix julius town road near route 206 and down pole with baltimore pike eastbound side is blocked right at the the media bypass. otherwise mass transit looking good with no delays.

nicole, back over to you. with the budget deadline just days away new jersey governor chris christie holds his latest town hall meeting in camden county. governor talk about high taxes, pension and health benefits reform. christie recently cut contributions to the state's pension fund saying there are no other options for balancing new jersey budgets. >> i simply don't believe that for the most over taxed people in america already that what we need to do is to raise more taxes. >> christie says he will veto the bill to raise those taxes. governor christie also praising a judge's ruling allowing him to reduce state's contributions to publish workers pension fund. christie argued that cutting payments due this month and next year was only clear option for balancing the state budget after a surprise revenue short fall. group of unions sued to try to force the state to make the full payments. it is unclear if they will appeal. a five-year old boy is recovering this morning after nearly drowning in the montgomery county pool. >> yeah, it happened at flourtown summer day camp

yesterday afternoon. managers say that life guards spotted the boy in the water 4 feet deep who needed help. they jumped in and pulled him out. >> there was a distressed swimmer. child is fine, staff activated the emergency action plan. they have followed all procedures and protocols. >> got right in made sure he was okay. >> reporter: managers complimented life guard for their quick action. >> no doubt. much more to cover on "eyewitness news" this morning find out why the speaker of the house is suing the the president, we will have that and more an "eyewitness news" this morning.

laws, and in my view, the president has not faithfully executed the laws. >> the lawsuit could test the constitutional checks and balances between legislative branch and executive branch. also in washington a unanimous ruling from the supreme court police may not search the the cell phones of people they arrest without first getting a warrant. chief justice john roberts wrote the opinions. he said cell phones are not just another technological convenience but devices chalk full of private information. high court issued another big ruling as well and found internet start up a er o violates copy right the law when it takes off the air signals and provides them to its own subscribers. major networks including cbs, parent company of cbs-3, sued for copy right infringement. justice steven briar wrote the majority opinion says the system is for all practical services identical to a cable system. >> because of the fact that they look a lot like a cable company they will be regulated

fairness. >> that is true, andy wheeler. >> our producer. >> yes, but, we are still dealing i think with unsettled weather here today, maybe even tomorrow. nothing necessarily as widespread as what we had roll through here but it is because we are between systems right now. frontal boundary trying to pull away, not quite getting there just yet so high pressure tries to build in and still active outside. let start off if we can with storm scan three, nice wide zoom shows us the system beginning to make its retreat. i would say morning commute looks fine. we're done with the rain from what happened overnight, now we're just starting to clear up. the problem is we will see this return flow, additional pop up showers or thunderstorms out there but they should be pretty scattered in nature. this is not necessarily a widespread issue. we will call it a lingering shower, pop up storm, we will see here how we go. mostly staying dry though we will talk upper 80's, still

hot and sticky and then by tomorrow high pressure is building in more so but we are not out of the woods with the late day shower or a storm especially west of philadelphia and toward central pennsylvania. saturday looks good. we will continue to see, you know, better solutions with every single run of our computer models and right now it is looking good, for dry weather for both saturday and sunday across the game. we will call it partly sunny those days but in the meantime it is still hot, sticky and we will still dodge a couple rain drops here and there. do you need an umbrella? no, 89 degrees for that day time high but have a heads up, in the outside if you are outside for long period of time. partly cloudy and seasonable as we drop down to 68 degrees. we are talking mid 80's both saturday and sunday as we wrap up the month of june. can you believe the month is almost over. 88 degrees. hot and humid. we will heat up here to kick off yet another month, ukee, back over to you. thanks, katie.

>> 4:49. >> money watch's jill wagner joins us live from the new york stock exchange, good morning, jill. google showed off lots of technology in the annual developers conference. tech giant unveiled new smart watches but it didn't stop there though, right, more to come. >> reporter: that is right, good morning ukee and nicole. the company plans to put google in your home and car, google says that 40 auto industry partners have already signed up. the tech giant unveiled some new smart watch technology and that allows the smart watch and android smart phones hook up automatically. users will be able to see messages, access apps and other features normally available on your smart phone. google said it made a powerful computer small enough to wear comfortably on your body all day long. ukee and nicole. >> a computer on your body. >> i know. >> okay. >> we hear eye key a is raising minimum wage but not

here, starts the tone for the rest of the morning. >> no, no. >> from the doughnut store downstairs. a live look at route 309 where all of the roads are damp and wet this morning. stepping out of the front door be ready. things could be slippery. using wipers once or twice to get rain drops off of the windshield. we are in good shape here in fort washington. lets go to i-95, northbound from the airport on up we're good to go. southbound heading down towards the airport throughout the the stadium area here we have that construction, where everybody is pushed off to the right near broad street. we had problems last night on the way home. wilmington regional rail line services were suspended, back to normal this morning, no problems expected. we're in good shape using trains there, but down wires from the overnight, baltimore pike closed at media bypass, so traffic diverted through the neighborhood at least for the the first half of the morning rush hour. emergency repair shutting down white horse road, it is bridge

that goes over patco tracks, right by lindenwald station of the patco high speed line. coming from say the 42 freeway side, you will have access to get in the lindenwald station. however, coming from say voorhees marlton side you'll have to go up to somerdale road and then come back down on the white horse pike, again, structural repairs, emergency work that they noticed yesterday and that is why that bridge is shut down and that is going to be a hot mess for our morning rush hour. for folks standing outside the train, this morning, what is the forecast looking like. >> i don't think we need umbrella but i got to throw in the potential for a lingering shower or thunderstorm. frontal boundary that held through last night with those really heavy storms has since made its retreat but it is not totally cleared out just yet, the main line of energy is basically done at this point and out of our hair. we will start off in atlantic city one of the last places to see last rain drops and even

here we had started to see the end of, you know, worse of this wet weather. i will take you back next to storm scan three and go back in time to yesterday at 10:50 in the morning and slowly time things out we are seeing activity, more clouds, thunderstorms popping here, west of philadelphia and down through new castle county here along the delaware river but here came that line, that looks nasty, look at lightening with that. that finally rolled through overnight, i woke up from it, did you? let me know on twitter. it all cleared out. at this point front continues to make its retreat but we are going to start to see this backlash, additional, you know, wind driven more than anything spotty showers and storms. residual energy left in the atmosphere to trigger that. seventy-two is your current temperature meanwhile at the airport, it is nice and mild to start the day and if you are out and about watching those world cup match here, maybe with the he piazza
