well, breaking news now at 5:00 o'clock out of norristown a gun bat there will has left one person injured tonight, the scene is the 1800 block of willow street. police are still trying to piece together exactly what happened, but we saw cars, a car, and a van there riddled with bullets. at least one person suffered an injuries but we're told they are not life threatening. we will follow the story and bring you update tonight on "eyewitness news" at 6:00 o'clock. new developments today in that double stabbing at the house of the horde inner olney, 71 year-old woman and 54 year-old man were brutally stabbed on north fourth street yesterday morning. today, police charged a teenage neighbor in connection with that crime, it was same teenager who was hosing down one of the victims and the scene when police arrived yesterday. confession, admit to go break nothing to his neighbor's home intent on stealing their car keys and selling that car, instead, he woke up his neighbors, establish usually attacked them and then try to cover up the mess. he is 18 year-old anthony waters charge with attempted murder, aggravated assault, burglary and robbery. police say he stabbed his own neighbors nearly two dozen times at their home on north fourth street in olney. sending them to the hospital in extremely critical condition. >> i'm very hurt, and i hope that they will be all right. >> reporter: his mother lisa waters holding back tears fearing her son would some day end up in trouble with the law. >> i pray that he would stop taking those pills. would i like to see him in jail but not for something like this. >> reporter: police say the 18 year-old lived across the street from the neighbors he targeted and entered you this an unlock back door. waters they say wanted to steel keys to his neighbor's car so he could sell it to the chop shop. once inside police say waters was startled, stabbed a 71

shoot-out in norristown. the driver of the minivan has been rushed to the hospital, "eyewitness news" is first to tell but this story at 5:00. good evening, i'm chris may. i'm jessica dean. that scene unfolding in the 1800 block of willow street in norristown. people living in the montgomery county neighborhood are shaken up tonight. and, it is walt hunter hoist only television reporter there, walt? >> reporter: one neighbor thought it was a lawn mower backfiring that is how unaccustomed folks are in this neighborhood to violence. it was not a lawn mower but sound of gunshots around 2:00 p.m., as you say, left one person wounded and manhunt now underway for those who are firing the shots. crime scene tape sealed off part of the norristown neighborhood and mid afternoon after bullets began suddenly, flying. this minivan, its windows shattered by gunshots, driving a couple miles and pulling up to mercy hospital, where a unidentified passenger is being treated for what police called non-life threatening
