>> we're continuing to follow breaking news in holmesburg, man is barricaded 7900 block of mars done street. this stand-off started about two and a half hours ago. officers do not know if the man is armed, but they are telling us, that he's not holding a hostage. salt teams on the scene, we'll continue to up date you on this story as new information comes io cbs-3. >> right now, rescue teams are also working around the clock to find a missing swimmer off the jersey shore.

>> the 14 year old boy was swimming with friend off ocean city, when apparent rip current swept him away. jen bernstein is in the in ocean city at the boards walk to tell you more, jen? >> good morning, it is dawn in ocean sit. rescuers are hoping that the light will help them find this missing 14 year old swimmer. if you look on the beach over here, you can see, we have police car, up and down we have also several police cars, there is one on four wheeler right now that's been trolling the shore, and looking for this 14 year old. now, we are expecting us coast guard helicopter to resume an aerial search for this missing boy, at first light we were told, so soon, also, us coast guard cutter hip from cape may expected to join on the waters. crews are have been out since last night searching for the 14 year old. we have video of that. ocean city police departmental letter dollars coast guards of the missing swimmer shortly before 7:00 p.m. yesterday. darkness every night came

quickly and made searching for this young boy difficult for rescue crews. the year old last seen in the water near ninth street. authorities say the teenager swimming with friends at the time. it is believe he may have been swept away by rip currents. the others managed to make it bad back to shore. we did speak with a woman who called 911. >> saw the children playing, and on the rocks and fallen in the water, that's with we not sure what happened. so we called 911, and i don't know what happened, i am really sad. >> we know there was no lifeguard on duty at the time since it was later in the day, the lifeguards had left for the afternoon. now the us coast guard again hoping daybreak will assist in the search. and if you come back out to the picture, you can see an us coast guard ship out on the water now that it is light

out, we can see, and that ship has been going along the shore line slowly, looking in those waters, rip currents, very dangerous, they can pull you out a mile from shore, very, very quickly, there are strong current signs here on the beach, but again, there is hope that this light will help rescue crews looking for this 14 year old. we'll keep you updated. that's the latest. jen bernstein, cbs news. meanwhile, water department crews have fixed a water main break in northeast philadelphia. it happened early this morning, at somerdale and shelmire avenues in rhawnhurst. there was no disruption of any water service to homes, also, there had been no reports of any damage. however, bob has been telling us all morning long, that intersection does remain closed. he has the detours for you coming up right now. first we want to get to carol for your forecast, good morning. >> well, good morning to you. we are looking at very warm weather. it is starting today, but really gets going as we get to tuesday, especially, on

wednesday, and then maybe some stormy weather here on thursday. let's look outside right now, you can see, we've got the ocean city boardwalk at this point, it is quiet at this point. but i think the shore will be a destination today, because of the temperatures getting so warm inland. we have 68 degrees our present temperature in philadelphia, 65 trenton, 67 in wilmington, 60s, in fact, in all areas, nothing much to talk about on storm scan3, so we are expecting a quiet day today, and hot one, with more humid, more humidity than we saw yesterday, and each day more humidity. so, tomorrow, we're around 90 degrees, we're into the 90's on wednesday, some showers, thunderstorms possible really from tuesday night on. soap, let's take a look, we are fine today with few clouds, and some sun, and then by the time we get to tuesday we do start to pick up some chances at least of getting some showers, but more numerous, and more likely by the time we get to the wednesday and thursday time period. otherwise, today 88 degrees, our winds coming up out of the south, humidity does, too,

the temperatures are cool, they are in the 60s, in most of the area this morning. so, it is a quiet start. it doesn't look all that summer like. but it will feel it, and the humidity definitely going to be coming up. so one of the other things that i want to show you, and we will be talking about, the shore. you can see that we've got few clouds out there, as well, the sun is starting to peak on through, and so it will look really really nice today with some sunshine, some clouds, and temperatures that will be warm enough that will remind you every summer. here is the thing i want to point out, though there is will probably be impacting or at least it could be impacting by according to our computer models, our weather on friday. and this is a possibility of some tropical development as you can see, down through the south, down through the southeast coast, and it can bring up that moisture into our area. and the timing on it might be on friday, with some showers coming into the area. so just casino of a heads up for the fourth of july the actual day do we see some tropical-like moisture around

here. we'll see at least some showers possible. 68 degrees in philadelphia now 65 trenton, 67 degrees in wilmington, and we've got beach day that is not bad at all with temperatures of 80 degrees, tomorrow, 82 degrees, remember, to stay where the lifeguards are. friday, the fourth of july, 84 degrees, mostly cloudy, with those showers. for today, 88 degrees we get to the 09 degrees mark starting tomorrow. >> wow, going to be hot one. 5:45, morning, everybody, live look at the blue route 476 goes up and over the schuylkill expressway, folks head up toward maybe the mid-county tolls, if you are coming back from the poconos this morning, you're in good shape. going to route 309, right near the ft. washington interchange, again, no delays at all, i think we will see light volume starting this week, and with the holidays, and the vacation starting to kick in here. now, do have vehicle fire there is on the new jersey turnpike, northbound, at exit number two, which is for route 322. as you head northbound through swedesboro, look out for that. and, also, that fire location, in the neighborhood here in
