dozen people. >> it happened yesterday afternoon at third and wyoming in feltonville. "eyewitness news" reporter jen bernstein is on the scene at temple university hospital to tell you more, jen. >> reporter: good morning, police tell us that four people least main hospitalized this morning, two of them are in critical condition here at temple university hospital, and officials say that those two are a mother and daughter who remain at the the burn unit the here at temple and that they were inside the truck at the time when it suddenly exploded. a surveillance camera near third and wyoming was rolling as an explosion, turned into a fireball, in the blink of an eye. violent blast centered around a food truck and injured 12 people as flames spread across the street. two of those hurt were a mother and daughter who were inside a truck at the time. >> her dream was to open up a truck. >> reporter: relatives tell us that olga gomez made her dream a reality two months ago, her daughter, 17 year-old jaylen

landvery was working in the truck. they remain hospitalized this morning with serious injuries. >> olga is in really bad condition and jaylen is also in a bad condition but she is blessed. >> reporter: yesterday we talked up with latoyia page as she was released from the hospital. >> i had first degree burns on the left side. i was walking by and the truck just blew up and i just saw the the fire and fire just hit me and i started running. >> reporter: eyewitnesses say the explosion sent parts of the truck and a propane tank flying across the street, it even burned a passing car and started a small fire on the telephone pole. >> it appears preliminarily that the cause of this explosion was a propane tank. >> reporter: officials are investigating and they are trying to figure out why that propane tank exploded. that is latest outside temple university hospital, jen bernstein for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". developing right now, five people injured in an overnight shooting in chester delaware

county. gun violence erupted at a basketball court on the 800 block of tillman street. we have learned two victims are only 14 years old. all five victims are in stable condition, right now, no word on either a motive or suspects in custody. and the double shooting in west philadelphia, sends two women to the hospital, it happened just after 11:00 on the 800 block of north fallon street. a 36 year-old woman was shot in the head, the other in the cheek. police say they were hit while sitting on their front steps. right now authorities are interviewing witnesses, no arrests have been made. new this morning a woman is under arrest accused of attacking a philadelphia police officer outside a holmesberg bar. police say just before 3:00 a group of woman were denied entry inside that tavern on the 4500 block of sheffield street. that is when one of the women allegedly got in the scuffle with an officer and bit his leg. we're told the officers injury was minor.

called his estrange wife and allegedly confessed to placing his mother's body in the freezer after she died in the fall. police believe she may have been there for months. neighbors say they had some concerns. >> i have seen her a few times a lot of the neighbors including my father would hear noises, woman screaming, banging in the house. he used to take care of her for a while but there was a lot of noises coming from the house. >> reporter: police are looking for the woman's son. results are pending on of an autopsy. child endangerment charges will be filed begins a woman accused of receiving five young children in her car while she went shopping in port richmond. witnesses say the children were left alone for a half an hour. thankfully the children are doing okay. would the man responsible karen thompson is a day care provider. iteam investigation found that the take care was inspect ones with no violations. the the fat it will be reinn expect after this latest
