five people are dead after a helicopter crashed in the urban area in south korea see the the explosion just after the crash. helicopter was carrying fire fighter and rescue personnel in support of the fuel ferry search mission. there is no word on what cause that had chopper to go down. three suspect bank robbers lead police in northern california, on a high speed chase, that end in a hail of gunfire. listen to that, two suspects and a his stage are dead after this violent confrontation with police, that unfolded yesterday afternoon in stockton. police say men were wielding assault rifles when they took three women from inside the bank hostage. >> it is not something you want to hear in the middle of the day. you don't wake up or go to your job thinking like something like this will happen to you, or happen at all. >> police say two of the hostages were shot and thrown

scene and we are hearing that police are await ago this coroner's report, good morning. >> reporter: good morning to you. that is exactly right, hopefully, that report will provide some much needed information, surrounding this tragic, mystery, you can see, police still on the scene here out in stray bring mansion. meanwhile that couple has been identified by family as 66 year-old al gladys perry, retired hahnemann hospital nurse, and her husband 79 year-old roofus perry. according to relatives they were in good health and constant touch with family. you can imagine how shocking this news is for them and how devastating it must have been for their daughter who discovered both of their bodies on the living room floor inside that home. the lets roll video and set the scene. it all happened here on the 2500 block of north spangler street in strawberry mansion, neighbors heard that daughter screaming and called 911 just before 1:00. when police arrived they found that perry's unresponsive and

"eyewitness news". we have new video where a police officer was hit and killed by a truck this morning. this is in bergen county. we are told officer chris girdle was checking for speeding drivers in an unmark car when the tractor trailer rear ended him. so far the driver is not facing any charges, erika. police say murder of the art school grad at hand of her neighbor all stem from his perception of her wealth. 22-year old jeremiah jackson allegedly confessed to attacking laura araujo in the west philadelphia boarding home on monday. investigators say jackson beat and strangled her in an tempt to get her banking information. he then stuffed her body in the duffle bag and dumped it in kensington. man found body of the laura araujo is speaking out, he told his side of the story exclusively to "eyewitness news" reporter matt rivers. he asked to us conceal his identity, he says that he was on third street early monday morning looking for scrap metal and what he thought was
