susan macinnis joins us live from washington to bring us up-to-date on that investigation. >> us intelligence officials and their counterparts and other countries around the world are working now to determine who launched this surface to air missile, believed to be responsible for bringing down this jetliner. it is clear to most, this was no accident, what's still to be determined, is responsibility, and intense, specifically, was the downing of this commercial jetliner, civilian aircraft, a tragic accident. >> investigators will be combing through a nine-mile long trail of debris, in eastern ukraine, to figure out exactly what happened to malaysia airlines flight 17. this morning, malaysia's prime minister urged locals to stay away. >> no one -- >> the boeing 777 traveling from amsterdam to kulae lamb purr yesterday went down as it fly over field in a region controlled by pro russian

separatists. us military intelligence strongly suspects a surface to air missile brought it down. aviation structure and fire experts will now examine the aircraft wreckage to residue of missile propellents, evidence the jed's skin was tongue toured by a high speed impact. >> pro russian separatists and the ukrainian government are blaming each other for downing the aircraft. in ukraine's security agency released records action whatever it claims are intercepted phonecalls between a russian intelligence officer and a separatist group in ukraine. cbs news couldn't verify the recording, but a voice is heard saying we just shot down a plane. >> it looks less like an accident and a crime. and if so the perpetrators must be brought to justice. >> all 298 people on board died including three infants and several prominent aids researchers who were headed to international conference meet today to talk about form ago

every 95 down near the walt whitman bridge, had been closed for about 15 minutes, so they could pick up the construction cones. so anyone leaving this morning, for the airport, maybe add few extra minutes, because already little bit of back up there ahead of you. rest of the majors, 422, the schuylkill expressway, not bad. we kick off our friday morning into the neighborhoods we go, phoenixville, egypt roadblocked at the moment at bridge street from a downed pole and wires from the overnight. same deal outside of coatesville. route ten blocked at highland road. if you are leaving souse jet -- south jersey, good to go. no problems at all on the freeway, little slow working your way through the construction zone. mass transit looking good also at the moment. erika, back over to you. >> breaking news right now, just in from overseas. an ups cargo plane flying from paris to philadelphia has just made an emergency landing in london. the pilot said there was an emergency on the plane, and we're work to go find out exactly what that emergency was. the plane did land safely in

london about an hour and a half ago. developing right now, thousands of israeli soldiers back by it, are considering a grounds invasion into gas this morning. one israeli soldier, 20 palestinians, considered killed after israel launched into the gaza strip. now israel prime minister says the military is prepared to expand the operation. israel also stepped up its air assaults on hamas militants who have fired hundreds of rockets into the jewish state. hamas is vowing to retaliate against israel for the grounds invasion. new this morning, police are investigating a double shooting that injured a teenager in west philadelphia. it happened late last night on the 400 block of felton street. police say a 18 year old man was shot in the ankle. he was returned to h.u.p. in stable condition. another man suffered a graze wounds to the arm, but refused treatment. there is no word on what sparked that gunfire. well, happening today,

former new jersey middle school teacher will be sentenced on child abuse charges. charles really used to teach art and coach the soccer team at pine hill middle school. he admitted having inapropriate conversation was 17 studentsment prosecutors expect he will be sentenced to 15 years in prison. it looks like wilmington asaphia department will be spared from some big budget cuts today. the city council voted last week to slash about half a million dollars from the fire department's budget. eliminating seven positions. well, today mayor dennis williams will veto those cuts because he is worried about public safety in the city. >> memorial service will be held tonight for laura aroyo, woman found stuffed in a duffle bag. scheduled at the tabernacle of the holy spirit church in frankford. meanwhile we're learning more about her accused killer, jeremiah jackson worked as security guard at episcopal hospital according to the firm that employed him. court records reveal he was charged with theft back in 2011, but not convicted.

this is one of several wild fires burning outside seattle right now, hundreds of people in the path of the flames, have been told to leave their homes. at least 35 homes have already been destroyed. because we've warm air, seen somewhat the opposite reaction here on the east coaxer where we've had very cool air set until. it wasn't as much after shock to our system here with temperatures in the delaware valley, but, it feels a lot more refreshing outside too, that's because of the way this pattern has shifted with that really potent front that came
