well, at perdue, we say you are what you eat...eats. so we feed our chickens an all-veggie diet, including corn and marigolds with no added animal by-products... hormones...or steroids. because at perdue, we believe in a better chicken. right now at 11:00 a little boy falls from second floor window after south philadelphia home. tonight the child remains in critical condition. good evening, i'm natasha brown. thanks so much for joining us, investigators now trying to figure out how this happened. the four year old fell in philadelphia's kingsessing neighborhood. "eyewitness news" reporter matt rivers is live, outside of children's hospital tonight with the latest on this investigation.

matt? >> that the tasha, as you mention that young boy is in critical condition, but we're also told he is stable, right now, this as the investigation goes on, into how he fell out that far second floor window. >> a difficult saturday for neighbors on malcolm street. many broke to up police cars and terrible news. >> heart breaking, you know, when something happens accidentally, whatever to a child. >> a four year old boy inside this house, fell out after second story windows on the back side of the home. it happened around 8:30 a.m. the boy, taken to the children's hospital of philadelphia, shortly afterward, with severe facial and head injuries. >> it is a sad occasion when it comes to a child getting hurt. i have seven children. and they're all grown, but i wouldn't want to see nothing happen to no children. >> investigators still tying to determine how he managed to fall out of the window, and not sure if this was an accident or negligence involved. family members wouldn't speak with us saturday night, but neighbors describe a

tight-knit family. >> really sad because the family is very nice, and they usually stay to themselves. >> as this investigation goes on, we do know that no arrest haves been made so far in this case. it is being handled by the special victims unit. live outside of the children's hospital of philadelphia, matt rivers, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". matt, thank you so much. breaking right now, the search on for the driver after vehicle that hit a man in camden, new jersey. "eyewitness news" at north 27th and high streets tonight. police are working on releasing a description of this vehicle that left the scene of the accident. the victim was rushed to cooper university hospital. there is no word on his condition just yet. also, tonight, the us is calling on reb themes ukraine to allow investigators full access to the site where malaysia flight 17 crashed. there is serious concern that evidence is being tampered with. cbs news correspondent david begno has more.

trying to move generally north of the area. but as we zoom in, you can see, we are still tracking the threat for couple of showers in our western suburbs tonight. zooming in even further, you can see the yellow shade interesting over portions of lancaster county now creeping into berks county, again, lifting north, but in the lehigh valley watch out for couple of showers to come through here before the night is through. the rest of us look to stay dry for the majority of the night maybe stray sprinkle. that's about it, temperatures have dropped with the rain in lancaster, 68 now, 72 at the airport, 69 in trenton. these numbers pretty low for this time of year. that's kind after trends we've been in for the past several days. we had warm weather to start the week, 91 on tuesday, then dropped low to mid 80s, today, just lower 80s, our average high is 87 degrees. and we have not hit that in days. and we're not going to hit that specially tomorrow. the clouds do hang around through tonight, into tomorrow, i'll let you know when they finally break, then it does heat up again, it is mid july, warmest time of the year for us, i'll tell when you heat comes back coming up with the seven day forecast,

morning after the coast guard suspended its search for him. and detective continuing to question two persons of interest in the mysterious deaths after elderly cup nel strawberry mansion. rufus anal gladys perry were found dead by a daughter inside their spangler street home thursday. the couple showed no signs of trauma. there was also no evidence of forced entry into the house. the couple's family says that both were in good health. new at 11:00 sicklerville new jersey neighborhood rallies for peace after teen is hit by a stray bullet while sleeping. the theme was love and hugs outside of tia hudson's home on hathaway drive today. a bullet went through a wall, and hit the 13 year old in the lower back last week. now the honor roll student who is headed into eighth grade is spending her summer going through a very painful recovery. >> it is tia's day. i am so happy to say that she is home. i am happy to say that i am

>> in israel, alphonso van marsh, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". how long winds, meantime, pushing large wild fire in north central washington in new directions, officials say, the wild fire has charred more than 260 square miles northeast of seattle. the fire already destroyed about 100 homes, and residents have been told to evacuate. there are no reports of any injuries. and there is also a mystery now surrounding the late radio legend kacie kasem. his daughter says the family does not know where his body is. the 82 year old died on june 15th, a judge had granted kasem's daughter temporary restraining order preventing the radio host's wife from kree maple cents his remains, now the funeral home says it no longer has the body, and it could not provide information on the circumstances under which it was removed. a team of firefighters, they come to the rescue after purse snatching victim in new york city. the robber had swiped grace

still open, rides still going, great place to be on a saturday night in ocean city. you can warm up, get one of the hoodies, funnel change it, will keep you warm. things looking great down the shore for now. couple of showers lurking off the coast. couple of those could try to move into the shore points tomorrow. also, a batch of showers lifting mainly north of the area. most of this will miss the city as you can see, more of those green and yellow and orange shaded areas back to the west, and northwest, and this is where it is going, up into portions of new york state. so could clip the lehigh valley going through the next couple of hours, i don't think huge deal for us, again, if you are out and about, in the next couple of hours, watch for few showers, moving through lancaster county and berks county at the moment. just light stuff getting into western chester county. not big deal at the moment. for the shore, bigger deal is the

out little bit more. see some light rain there off the coast of maryland. at the moment, some of these showers could try to back in across the area tomorrow. again, not talking about rainout for anyone, not the best beach day in the world tomorrow. but still, not horrible. just couple of showers here right now 69 in millville. it is cool 68 in lancaster, rain-cooled air with showers there, 72 at the airport, 71 in allentown. cool along the coast, right at 70. ocean city, sea isle city and cape may and reb hoe it beach. so showers will continue to move to the eventually fizzle out overnight. watch what happens. two separate systems, casino of in the middle of both. that's what is keeping the cloud cover in place. by early morning sunday, few of the showers start to drift over the shore point, cape may count my portions every salem, cumberland counties, couple showers then the clouds start to disperse. more clouds down the shore, delaware, 1:00 o'clock tomorrow. but the sun starts to come out across much the area. while we can't rule out couple of spotty showers, look how spotty they are. kind of like polka dot showers
